Good job there Mr.Brent I do a lot of poplar and man does it have a mind of its own. Wants to move all over the place. The stress is so bad in these around here the only thing you can get out of them is usually 4 quart boards. We have tried 2x4’s and 2x6’s and they just end up to twisted up . We do make all of our stickers out of them. Thanks for sharing
I don't if you know this. But have you ever noticed that when you run red or white oak that your hands turns black? But if you use popular sawdust it will take it off easier than anything else. I learned that when I use to work at a sawmill
Yes I have and sometimes the oaks turn the band black but, if the next log is poplar it cleans the band too. Thanks for stopping by Joey. I hope you'll be back. Brent
Hey Mr Brent , you sure can make that LT 15 talk . That was some nice milling . 👍🏻🇺🇸
Thanks Del, I really like this little sawmill.

Thanks Steve, we don't have much trouble with twisting but, we try to work with the tension and let the board bow instead of crook.

Good job Brent. Was Carol swatting mosquitos or sawdust?
It must have been sawdust. It's been so dry around here I thin all the mosquitos moved south. Thanks for stopping by Paul.
