Six weeks into their first semester's Public Speaking and Performing Class, my students were challenged to freely perform an either pre- or self written piece. Needless to say, I am so proud to work with them.

Born to Indonesian German parents I made my first acquaintance with Jakarta as a newborn and left months after to be raised in good ol' Europe.
After a somewhat nomadic lifestyle I made my way back to Jakarta (or the 'big durian', as I like to call it) in 2013 to find myself completely inadequately equipped for survival in this chaotic urban jungle.

It's been just over four years and I am still feeling a bit like a tourist.
