Hello! Im an early beginner and i was wondering what i should put for the treble and bass settings on my amp?? Also where should i relatively have my tone control and pickup switch. When i play my guitar it doesnt sound quite like yours :(
I would recommend to put the tone knob on your guitar to max
Search amp settings for guitarists that you like on google, and then adapt it for your gear
Depends what gear you’ve got
First you will need distortion (sometimes it is built into the amp and sometimes you will need a distortion pedal, it depends on what amp you have) then on your guitar you should put your tone knobs almost all of the way up and this goes for almost everything you are playing, it gives a more clear tone. With the pickup selector switch if you have a 5-way switch it is best to put it at 2, 3, or 4 notches down, I prefer playing 4 because it goes better with the type of distortion I use. All in all if you don’t have a way of getting distortion then it won’t work so if you are missing this it won’t sound like the guitar in the video.
I just use a overdrive pedal and it sounds nice

good tutorial, I skipped through most of it just for the tab itself because the one on ultimate guitar had some mistakes placing the chords right and I needed to hear someone play it to be double sure. Adding the ending chords is a nice touch.
Very good job speaking it out so those who are learning can take it step by step.
This song is a great starter song for people, it reminds me of learning Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones at 16 and the little laugh in surprise i had when i could hear the song coming out out

This would be great as a first song to learn. Maybe start by playing just the lower note of the two with your first finger. It will sound like the song and if you can do that then add the 3rd finger as well. Start really slow and build up your speed slowly. Let me know how you get on.

gain on 10, volume down quite low depending on how loud you want it. bass middle and table on 5

you can! it won’t have an electric guitar tone obviously but as long as they’re tuned the same, anything that can be played on electric can be played on an acoustic

Not really. If you are struggling then practice just playing the lower note of the two. So E7 E7 E7 E7 E7 E6 E5 etc. It will sound cool but be a bit easier
