First and foremost, Happy Birthday Kaeli 🎉❤🎉 I can’t believe and entire year has already went by ❤ OMG Leslie you really out did yourself on this beautiful vintage strawberry decorated cake 🎉 The piping is so pretty and is definitely giving that vintage vibe you were going for. She’s going to look back at this video and pictures one day and have the best thoughts about how much time and effort her mama took to show her how loved and special she is to you. Kaeli, you are truly blessed to have a mama that loves you beyond measure and would climb any mountain to see that you have the best cake ever ❤ Les…I really like that clear template you found! I’m off to Amazon to see if I can’t find it 😅 I also keep forgetting to purchase one of those thin clear things to spread my frosting. I use a brand called, “Whip N Ice”. I find mine at my local cake shop. In the cake world we call it, “Elite Frosting”. Being a fellow Texan we love our cake so, depending on your cake sizes will determine how many your cake will serve. In Texas we like to serve what we call, “Texas Size Slices” which means, you’re going to get a nice chunky slice of cake 😅. For round cakes I always start by cutting a circle from the center of the cake thus making it so much easier and cleaner to cut the other slices on the outside. FUN FACT: Did you know that the strawberry is the only fruit that grows it’s seeds on the outside of the fruit 😊 I can’t wait for the Christmas Cake series to come out 🎉 Leslie you have truly out done yourself ❤ one day when you become a, “Senora” I can definitely see you opening your own cake shop 🎉 What I would love to see you do, is to get on the game show on Netflix called, “Nailed It”…that’s a really quick, fun way for you to make $10,000 cash prize for something you enjoy doing. ❤
