Did you ever see So Beautiful and No Blueberries? They were really the world's introduction to the musical artist DPR Ian. And So Beautiful remains my #1 listened to song on Spotify.
I'm glad the reactor community really understands the artistry that is DPR Ian. I remember, I let spotify play on shuffle from the now non-active "we love kpop" channel. It was waterbending kpop style. DPR Live was on there so I let that ish play on. Next thing you know I hear "So Beautiful" and I'm just dancing. Had to run to my phone in the last second to hit the like button. Turns out the song had recently dropped that week. Then I watched the video and was like is that my girl CL. Then he had the nerve to drop NERVES and I was in musical therapy every since.
I'm so glad you listened to more DPR ian! I love listening to music from everywhere but he remains my favorite artist of all time. He has an EP coming up in October called Dear Insanity. It's supposed to be from Mr. Insanity's point of view where as the past 2 albums have been from mito which is why they are darker. I really recommend reacting to his interview with Zach Sang if you haven't already, although it is now a year old it gives a lot of insight on the lore of his music, all the different characters/details, his past, how he started music, and how his music plays in with his mental health :) Thank you so much for the reaction as always
I think I've watched every react to DPR Ian at this point, but you may have my favorite reactions of all. You give his visions and talents the justice they deserve. He's such an experience in a world of packaged and repackaged music, and the commitment he has to his art is awe-inspiring. You react not just to the beauty of his visuals or vocals, but you think beyond the surface and uncover your own meanings as well as his--which is no doubt exactly as he intends as an artist. I hope you react to more of his because I keep coming back just for that!
@@TeddyGreyOS I'm so excited to hear that you will be doing more DPR in the future!! I was rewatching your reaction today and was so disappointed to not hear your thoughts on his other songs, so I'm looking forward to seeing more of him on your channel in the future. But also I so get the impatience of just wanting to binge listen to all his sons, he is THAT good 😆😊
I really love your dpr ian reactions, I hope you’ll dive in deeper in his discography and I’m pretty sure you’ll love it too !! 🤗 As always, love your reactions and your person 🫶
please react to So Beautiful by DPR IAN for me, it's still one of the best songs I've ever listen in my entire life, the instrumental is rly an EXPERIENCE!!
I am a new DPR IAN listener and I’m still trying to understand basically everything behind his songs, lyrics and videos. For me, (and I could be completely wrong) this video represents that constant fight we have with ourselves. You know how some people say “we’re our worst enemy”? You can see how adult Ian is holding and moving that light thing and child Ian is whining, and doesn’t like it. And he is singing about it: I can't control all of my fears at the end of the video he is like dancing and singing and playing the bass as if he is accepting? living with his fears? I also know that some people say: if you can't defeat your demons learn to live with them He’s finding some sort of peace in his own chaos.
I'm glad someone else associated peanuts, butter and tears with mood, I was thinking that I was the only one who compared the lyrics hahaha.. but anyway I personally think Ian's mind is brilliant, the fact that the green screen guy is present the way he is, gives me an idea of the weight that the world or anything or anyone can put on something, and that weight can be stuck on you, like a green screen that exposes anything, from good to bad things, its something else...
He has bipolar disorder and he always tries to be able to express what he feels. There is an extremist that they did to him that is unforgivable. If you want her, I'll send her here.

I need the part 2 of Miito, an MV for Sometime's I'm... and a collab with XG. The Space vibe is awesome.
