My mother let me know what was happening and my older sister gave me a pamphlet about menstruation that l still have forty years later.
For anyone going through a periods or thinking it’s coming this is a period kit for you:extra undies sanitizer pads/tampons heating pads for cramps water bottle ofc tiny stuff animal (for comfort) and a letter telling yourself your a strong girl and you can do it ❤😊
@@h3arts0ff1c1alalways have pads or tampons with you and try to look for signs that your period is coming! Usually your period will come at the same time of day every month so that’s another tip too.
I got my period at 14 1/2 (pretty late) so for years I was anxious about it thinking I was different or wouldn’t get it. I’m just here to remind you everyone is different! I had symptoms like these on and off for years before getting my period, I actually had discharge for 3 years before getting my period. My schedule: August 19, 2024: Best friend got hers yesterday. I have discharges, rarely any breast soreness, every now and then mood swings, acne on my chin, and I DEFINITELY GOT A GROWTH SPURT! September 15, 2024: Been getting a little discharge today, no breast soreness, still every now and then mood swings, acne on my cheek, and still have the same growth spurt lol 😂 REMIND ME TO UPDATE BY COMMENTING!

ok, i'm 13, got my period YEARS ago, and i'm going to help you guys out as much as I possibly can. 1-it's not that scary. people like to make it seem like it's the worst thing in the world. even if you have a heavy flow, it's still not that bad. cramps might be bad, but in the end, it'll be OK. 2-everyone is different. at first I got zero cramps. but now, I get loads of cramps. don't let your friends, the Internet, or anyone else tell you what's normal and not. unless it's life-threatening, everyone is different. 3- you cannot control the mood swings. as much as your parents or anyone else tell you to act less moody, it's nearly impossible to make yourself happier and/or delightful. 4-please please please do not be ashamed to talk about periods. it's natural and OK. if anyone makes you feel bad about it, they've most likely not been through it, or feel sorry for themselves. it's totally fine. 5-do not be forced to use a tampon so quick. i've had my period for years, and I choose to use pads. not cause I have to, but because it's more comfortable and better for me. 6-everyone's flow is different. if you start off with a heavy flow, it's natural. if you start off with a light flow, it's natural. just talk to your parents or doctor to make sure you're healthy and stable. you will be ok. 💕if you have any questions i'm here 🩷🩷💕

Always have an emergency kit like a little purse with toilet paper pads /tampons wipes and an extra underwear Change ur pad ever 2-3 hrs depending on ur flow Try not to eat spicy food on your period Use a heating pad to help with cramps or a hot water bottle Thess are all the tips i have but u could ask your mom or dad for more advice

Hi I'm 11 at the moment. I actually got my first period around 9 or 10. First of all, don't panic. A few hours before you get it, you feel cramps. Not bad ones, usually some lights ones that indicate you are going to have your first period. I would recommend bringing a kit to school just in case. Always good to have a trustworthy friend too. And one last thing, please don't be waiting or get excited for it. Once you get it, you'll understand the sadness. Yeah, it sucks

Oh, I also forgot how I got this bad cramp in fourth grade and then in fifth grade my friend got a bad cramp in PE and I thought it was just cause of running but she had to sit out and then during math I got it and I was almost crying and my Bestie saw and we both got the same cramp in the same day.

ok, i'm 13, got my period YEARS ago, and i'm going to help you guys out as much as I possibly can.
1-it's not that scary. people like to make it seem like it's the worst thing in the world. even if you have a heavy flow, it's still not that bad. cramps might be bad, but in the end, it'll be OK.
2-everyone is different. at first I got zero cramps. but now, I get loads of cramps. don't let your friends, the Internet, or anyone else tell you what's normal and not. unless it's life-threatening, everyone is different.
3- you cannot control the mood swings. as much as your parents or anyone else tell you to act less moody, it's nearly impossible to make yourself happier and/or delightful.
4-please please please do not be ashamed to talk about periods. it's natural and OK. if anyone makes you feel bad about it, they've most likely not been through it, or feel sorry for themselves. it's totally fine.
5-do not be forced to use a tampon so quick. i've had my period for years, and I choose to use pads. not cause I have to, but because it's more comfortable and better for me.
6-everyone's flow is different. if you start off with a heavy flow, it's natural. if you start off with a light flow, it's natural. just talk to your parents or doctor to make sure you're healthy and stable.

And i said these are my symptoms, and they said my body is already 90%-95% done like i mean my body is working on my period and my body is already 90%-95% done. It means my body only need 10%-5% to go which doesnt take long. Help me gurlies!!

Always have an emergency kit like a little purse with toilet paper pads /tampons wipes and an extra underwear
Change ur pad ever 2-3 hrs depending on ur flow
Try not to eat spicy food on your period
Use a heating pad to help with cramps or a hot water bottle
Thess are all the tips i have but u could ask your mom or dad for more advice

Hi I'm 11 at the moment. I actually got my first period around 9 or 10. First of all, don't panic. A few hours before you get it, you feel cramps. Not bad ones, usually some lights ones that indicate you are going to have your first period. I would recommend bringing a kit to school just in case. Always good to have a trustworthy friend too. And one last thing, please don't be waiting or get excited for it. Once you get it, you'll understand the sadness. Yeah, it sucks

Okay it’s the beginning of April now still haven’t gotten it yet but I predict that I will get it sometime when I am 13 which is in May. A LOT more discharge, more cramping, a lot more bloating, tiredness, sore breasts, sore breasts, and I grew frickin 3 more inches a few months ago, and A LOT OF MORE MOOD SWINGS like my dad can just say 1 random thing and it would just SET ME OFF

Story time about the time when i thought i have breast cancer 😚: I'm going to be 12 now but a few months ago I felt a lump and didn't know that my boobs were just growing, so I freaked out and every day i checked and it was still there 😭 and a few weeks later I told my mom and she forgot about the growth of boobs and she said lets go to the hospital and i was like no, I'm scared and etc and one day i forgot about it and i learnt that it was just my boobs growing

Oh, I also forgot how I got this bad cramp in fourth grade and then in fifth grade my friend got a bad cramp in PE and I thought it was just cause of running but she had to sit out and then during math I got it and I was almost crying and my Bestie saw and we both got the same cramp in the same day.

i am 12 and i got my period when i was 11 about half a year ago. i didn’t start with a heavy flow, so it was hard to tell that i got it or not since the blood was sort of mixed in the discharge. i experienced the same thing going on for a few days and came to the conclusion i got my period. a few weeks later it finally became a normal flow and i knew for sure i had gotten it, i was excited about it but OH GOSH i regret wanting it. now every time i get it i want to shove my face on a pillow and scream my heart out. for girls who are excited and wanting their period, u won’t be happy about it after a few times❤️❤️❤️
