Hello ma’am Can I take vitex with vitamins. I am taking the vitamins you talked about . I am taking Bcomplex with vitamin C. Coq10. Omega 3, D3,and folic acid ..for 5 months now . Trying to get pregnant but no help
Everyone's body is different. I started taking Vitex to lengthen my luteal phase and it worked the following cycle. Lengthened my cycle from 26 days to 28 days. It added two days to my luteal phase. Just got my hormones tested and all within normal range. Also my skin is the clearest it's ever been. Im happy with my Vitex!
This was so informative! I just started a supplement that has vitex. I wasn’t sure what it was. But my past bloodwork showed that I had slightly elevated levels of prolactin and I know my dopamine levels are low due to ADD etc. This was super helpful! Thank you!
My health provided recommended this My periods were normal and regular but after I gotten married my periods went down hill.. my prolactin was bad my progesterone was bad my estrogen was bad it mess up my period. My periods was missed for 4 months my health provider recommended this a month after I took this and actually got my period after 4 months of absence took them for a year and it helped me alot with my periods to come back every month I stopped taking them again and my periods were absent again for another 4 months. I retook vitex berry again and again in less than a month my period came back it actually came back today after 4months of no periods. I wanna get pregnant next year. I took it cycle 1 first day of your period all the way till ovulation (so for around 2 weeks) because just in case you conceive, it is not recommended during pregnancy
Was taking Vitex from 2 weeks and Doc gave Letrozol for Day 3-7 , took Letrozol first day with Vitex (Threw me into worst Vertigo and side effects ever). I have had Letrozol in past no issues but I think it's because i was taking 1500 mg vitex. Took 6 days to get out of system
I took it for around 3-4 weeks and now no period. I was told by the manufacturer it is only meant for women that have no periods. I do have periods, they just fluctuate. Now I have completely missed my period and plan to stop taking it ASAP.

I tried Vitex to try to prolong my luteal phase, did have a 27 day cycle but only 8 days post ovu. I did 2 months of Vitex and my cycle went down to 23 days for the next 6 months or so, with some other weird side effects and a super short luteal phase of 6 days. So it's definitely not for every issue, just as you say. 😂

But I went the long route after instead, changed my life for the better, it took me about 1-2 years but my luteal phase went slowly up to 13 days and has thankfully stayed there. 😊 I have used vitex again, but only a couple times when ovulation has been late, then I've taken it to get it going and it's worked every time. I mean, we're still individuals so it might have a slightly different effect on that level. I found a way that works for me, and I hope everyone gets the chance to do that. ❤️
@@YamelyVera Or get medical help. For me it was a physical blockage due to unknown endometriosis. I got help and we now have a happy 2-year old boy. :)
I am one of those who decided to take vitex because I thought it would help my low progesterone levels that are not caused by too much prolactin 🤦🏼♀️. I immediately stopped taking them as soon as I did more research. Luckily I only ended up taking them for 8 days 😬 hopefully that's not enough to mess me up

I took 1600mg of vitex along with inositol chryo,omega 3,vitamin d,coq10 400mg,b complex,spearmint 1000mg,and 2 cups of spearmint tea a day,tumeric 1000mg. And I got pregnant with twins. Just had my twins second birthday this past weekend. So I kinda fixed my pcos. As long as I take vitex just to ovulate which takes about 2 weeks and then stop a few days after I ovulate I will usually get a cycle on my own for a few months then have to do it all over again with 1600mg of vitex.

Until I started having pain in my abdomen similar to when I had a ruptured cyst since I already had those in the past so went to ER and found out I was pregnant 2 months.

You have to see if you have high prolactin and then compare it to the symptoms of having low dopamine...vitex only helps in this very particular situation. Good luck!
I have really irregular cycles anything from 22 to 42 days, I've only ovulated twice since January when I came off the pill. My estrogen and thyroid levels are normal. Would vitex work or is there something else I can try that's herbal.
i have used vitex black cohosh and shatavari. research those. Also evening primrose first 14 days of cycle and buy the reusable saliva test called Fertile Focus in the usa. pinpoints when you ovulate. $30 last for years.
Yes, apparently is recommended in the first trimister in order to support the pregnancy and not lose it, only reduce the dosage to only 1 capsule/day 400mg. From week 12 you stop them completely.
I heard in this video its not recorded to take vitex with pcos but I am not sure I recommend to speak to a health provider. But im pretty sure you can it helps regulate your periods. It helped me after 4 months of no periods. It came back when I took gaia vitex berry in less than a month. I have been taking it for a year now and I have my periods back. Yet I decided to take vitex to increase my chance to get pregnant. (Yes that wasn’t a smart decision!) I started to take due to my prolactin level which is above 1000 - I am going via donor egg process looks that reason is stress then my clinic ignore the high prolactin level but looks that has to be taken under consideration this is why I started to take , next transfer in 2 weeks .... I believe that help (it will be 5th transfer after trying everting )

I don’t have hypothyroidism but I have irregular periods since the mirena birth control. I took Gaia liquid vitex capsules which helped me get a period within a few days of taking it and then every month after, till I got pregnant, which was 2 months after. Previously we tried for nearly a year with no success. Unfortunately I lost the pregnancy a few weeks ago as it was an ectopic but I would definitely recommend this brand. Hi, this is 8th year of my marriage. We r trying for baby.i never get pregnant. 2 IUI failed. 20 days before 1 IVF fail because of immature eggs. My follicles were 20 good in size, there are 12 eggs, so there are 3 embryos, then 2 were stopped and just 1 was good but not strong because of egg quality. Sperm were strong. I am facing problem with cyst in ovaries before IVF too. So my follicles were good but eggs were immature in it. What should i do?
I got some Vitex berries and I thought I would use it as tea/infusion/decoction. However, I have learned since that the important constituents are not water-soluble. it can cause a lot of menstrual irregularities, especially if it's not taken under the right circumstances. Heavier bleeding is usually due to a hormonal imbalance favoring estrogen...which can happen with agnus castus.
@@hausofrlateish That depends on why you started taking it specifically, and how things have changed since then. I usually recommend to stop taking it unless they have the high prolactin/low dopamine. There are lots of different things we can do to support the body to balance itself :-) Check out the seed cycling, castor oil, and diet videos!

Two years to a year for pregnancy. Neuroleptics were used on me. I had no hormone problems. Until they did this it's dopamine inhibitor how I don't know if it kills nerves damages hypothalamus then it's difficult to reverse. And they try to say it causes psychosis! I ended up with parkinsonionsons. It shrinks brain too. So increase in dopamine is what I need. Antipsychotics s cause diabetes Th hypothyroidism shrinkage of brain, iron deficiency vitamin d deficiency metabolic syndrome, which is fatal, heart lung failure, muscle weakness sojoints damaged burning pain in muscles tardive dyskinesia, sudden death.miserable faceparkinsoiniosons shaking etc etc its neurotoxin its very dangerous more drawbacks than positives it kills people slowly, you can't think you have no motivation it affects speech and causes strokes its dopamine inhibitor. Very very dangerouss talking therapy better. I don't think excess dopamine causes psychosis at all.
I have been taking vitex for a month to regulate my cycles. We aren't ttc yet but I wanted to get things in order before started. In addition to my first perfect period in years (five days, normal bleeding), my mood is so, so much better. I feel like I stepped out of a depression fog. I guess the dopamine link makes sense. I haven't been tracking ovulation yet so I don't know if it's actually helping with fertility but it has helped with my mood and no spotting or anything outside of the five days of my period.
Update: my second period on Vitex came ONE day after my period tracker projected it would come based on a 28 day cycle. I have never had a regular period in my life. I am totally amazed by this herb. Still in a great headspace, even through PMS. I am going to start charting temps this cycle so we'll see if I am ovulating too.

Yes u should take it till u get your period..stop vitex when u r on period..again start vitex.. if u are pregnant keep continue for 12 weeks of pregnancy

Hey, I am not an expert at all but I have read that Vitex lowers prolactin levels so my advice would be to research. I believe you will find a lot of info. There’s a website I think called fertilityinfo and they make youtube tutorial videos. They are certified herbalists and have a lot of info on vitex. Good luck! :)

It’s still really hard for me to know whether vitex would be right for you. I always always always recommend changing your diet first and adding in the foundational supplements before turning to things like vitex. Check our the diet videos, as well as the supplement videos and start there. Those things will be able to improve your fertility and cycle better than adding in vitex without making those changes first. Good luck!

amani bodduluri Hi! So vitex isn’t right for everyone and for most people who take it it will not help you in the way you need. Please look at the pcos videos I have posted so far, another one is coming out today, for more information on how to help pcos naturally. Vitex is only for a specific population and won’t always help, and can make things worse. Definitely look into the pcos videos. I wish you luck!!!

Sometimes you have to take the tablet form for 4-6months before it helps to regulate your cycle. 2 months doesn’t give it chance to work.

Try Gaia liquid vitex capsules. I had the same problem and it was the only thing that helped regulate my cycle

I recently took Vitex Berry I have hypothyroidism. When are you supposed to take Vitex Berry? So I stop taking it before ovulation invade you get pregnant?

I started to take due to my prolactin level which is above 1000 - I am going via donor egg process looks that reason is stress then my clinic ignore the high prolactin level but looks that has to be taken under consideration this is why I started to take , next transfer in 2 weeks .... I believe that help (it will be 5th transfer after trying everting )

I don’t have hypothyroidism but I have irregular periods since the mirena birth control. I took Gaia liquid vitex capsules which helped me get a period within a few days of taking it and then every month after, till I got pregnant, which was 2 months after. Previously we tried for nearly a year with no success. Unfortunately I lost the pregnancy a few weeks ago as it was an ectopic but I would definitely recommend this brand. I’m still using it and hope to get a rainbow baby soon.

Hi, this is 8th year of my marriage. We r trying for baby.i never get pregnant. 2 IUI failed. 20 days before 1 IVF fail because of immature eggs. My follicles were 20 good in size, there are 12 eggs, so there are 3 embryos, then 2 were stopped and just 1 was good but not strong because of egg quality. Sperm were strong. I am facing problem with cyst in ovaries before IVF too. So my follicles were good but eggs were immature in it. What should i do?

I got some Vitex berries and I thought I would use it as tea/infusion/decoction. However, I have learned since that the important constituents are not water-soluble. That being the case what about grinding the berries and mixing them into something and eating them that way. Would that work? Thank you!

it can cause a lot of menstrual irregularities, especially if it's not taken under the right circumstances. Heavier bleeding is usually due to a hormonal imbalance favoring estrogen...which can happen with agnus castus.

@@hausofrlateish That depends on why you started taking it specifically, and how things have changed since then. I usually recommend to stop taking it unless they have the high prolactin/low dopamine. There are lots of different things we can do to support the body to balance itself :-) Check out the seed cycling, castor oil, and diet videos!

Yes I think it can help with endo it helped mhy sister combined with evening primrose. and you need an alkalizing diet. not extreme though. /bone broth is good too.

Two years to a year for pregnancy. Neuroleptics were used on me. I had no hormone problems. Until they did this it's dopamine inhibitor how I don't know if it kills nerves damages hypothalamus then it's difficult to reverse. And they try to say it causes psychosis! I ended up with parkinsonionsons. It shrinks brain too. So increase in dopamine is what I need. Antipsychotics s cause diabetes Th hypothyroidism shrinkage of brain, iron deficiency vitamin d deficiency metabolic syndrome, which is fatal, heart lung failure, muscle weakness sojoints damaged burning pain in muscles tardive dyskinesia, sudden death.miserable faceparkinsoiniosons shaking etc etc its neurotoxin its very dangerous more drawbacks than positives it kills people slowly, you can't think you have no motivation it affects speech and causes strokes its dopamine inhibitor. Very very dangerouss talking therapy better. I don't think excess dopamine causes psychosis at all.
I have been taking vitex for a month to regulate my cycles. We aren't ttc yet but I wanted to get things in order before started. In addition to my first perfect period in years (five days, normal bleeding), my mood is so, so much better. I feel like I stepped out of a depression fog. I guess the dopamine link makes sense.
I haven't been tracking ovulation yet so I don't know if it's actually helping with fertility but it has helped with my mood and no spotting or anything outside of the five days of my period.
Update: my second period on Vitex came ONE day after my period tracker projected it would come based on a 28 day cycle. I have never had a regular period in my life. I am totally amazed by this herb. Still in a great headspace, even through PMS. I am going to start charting temps this cycle so we'll see if I am ovulating too.

Yes u should take it till u get your period..stop vitex when u r on period..again start vitex.. if u are pregnant keep continue for 12 weeks of pregnancy

use first 2 weeks of cycle only. research black cohosh and shatavari. i will be startng videos on these things too if you want to check my channel in a few months. Turmeric is good too. Not when pregnant stop if you think you concieved.

Yes. Much more likely to help with irregular cycles, late or anovulatory cycles than for people who have normal cycles. Have you tried it yet?

Hey, I am not an expert at all but I have read that Vitex lowers prolactin levels so my advice would be to research. I believe you will find a lot of info. There’s a website I think called fertilityinfo and they make youtube tutorial videos. They are certified herbalists and have a lot of info on vitex. Good luck! :)

It’s still really hard for me to know whether vitex would be right for you. I always always always recommend changing your diet first and adding in the foundational supplements before turning to things like vitex. Check our the diet videos, as well as the supplement videos and start there. Those things will be able to improve your fertility and cycle better than adding in vitex without making those changes first. Good luck!

amani bodduluri Hi! So vitex isn’t right for everyone and for most people who take it it will not help you in the way you need. Please look at the pcos videos I have posted so far, another one is coming out today, for more information on how to help pcos naturally. Vitex is only for a specific population and won’t always help, and can make things worse. Definitely look into the pcos videos. I wish you luck!!!
