Nice work! I see the creativity pouring out of you! Beautiful chunk of wood, the grain pattern says look how beautiful I am... It still fit under that drill press great work Bongo, thank you
Okay, nobody can say that ain't cool! Note to self... take base off old anvil and sand it down to make stand for new lamp... oh and don't forget to disassemble old drill... brilliant... p.s: I noted your gold hammer... pretty snazzy :)
lol 11 people didnt think it was cool, this has made a higher number of dislikes than usual youve got an anvil? theyre a great piece of workshop equipment that i havent got, theyve doubled in price over here in the last year or so
Whaaaat... well, maybe you have to be cool to think it's cool, lol. No, I actually don't have an anvil. A number of years back, I looked everywhere for 'an affordable' anvil which I never found, so I gave up searching... maybe one day
thepoultrypeople well in the illustrious words of AvE, if it broke you can't break it anymore than it is. take it apart see if there's a part number on the switch, you never know google might reveal you can still get it or something similar and hey presto a full working drill after a couple quid in parts and a little bit of soldering. 😊 as always a pleasure watching you work .

So cool Bongo. Question..Do you plan everything out in your head before you start, or is it more a general idea and improvise as you go?
Thanks..
hmm i saw the bits and then i pictured it in my mind and then just made it, no plan as such, so yes, general idea and then just go at it
