Awesome video as per usual!
Adorable editing at the end, loved it very much! :D
i felt the map deserved the thumbs up screen :D
Glad you're still enjoying these so much, thank you!
at this point, the community could just stitch together a bunch of different community maps like this and make Portal 3 themselves!
Someone is always making a prequel to portal 2 and valve approved it as portal 3. I think so
Even if there is never a "Portal 3", i'm fine with that, there's some much awesome community made content for the game now, it's awesome to see what talented and creative people can do given the tools and the freedom to experiment.
Thank you for watching and for commenting too :D
This looks like Borealis took a detour and crashed on the shore in some timeline. Amazing world building and details. These weird Friday maps have made me think that Valve is not releasing Portal 3 because they know they cannot top the community. What an amazing and truly beautiful vibe from the nap! Couldn't find a single flaw
The Borealis kind of fascinates me, it's so ...mysterious, we only ever get hints of its existence.
The portal modding/mapping community has some incredible talent in it, it's awesome to see what creative people can do given the tolls and freedom to experiment, and even if they never make Portal3, i'm fine with that to be honest. There's so much community content for it and the game is still going strong because of the community.
As always, thank you for watching and for the comments!
nice. as always, amazing map and amazing editing!
Thank you as always!, glad you enjoyed it and yeah i though the map deserved the thumbs up screen :D
I remember i think demon arisen playing this, i tried finding the live stream, all i know is that in the livestream i think demon arisen called it obama or something i dont know for sure. Asides of that: awesome visuals and that I dont have to watch another 3 hours of livestream to find this map cause i can always look here. Great job Valla-Chan.
All the Valla-Chan maps i have played so far have been awesome, very talented mapper/modder, and of course they brought Wheatley Carb to the world, that will exist for ever lol
Thank you as always dude!
Duuuude, that was AWESOME!! It's the cross over I always wanted. Totally nailed the feeling of the Myst-verse.
You really should give Myst another go. Just look at and click on everything you find. TAKE NOTES. You'll find the thing that makes seemingly random stuff make sense together.
When Hugo recommended this one, i thought of you straight away, knew you'd like it, and Valla-Chan did an awesome job as always.
I really do want to get into Myst properly, everyone talks about it in such high regard, the little bit i've played was really cool. Thanks for the notes tip too never thought to take notes in a game before (or to be honest, played a puzzle game that's hard enough to need to lol)
Yeah, this build was amazing. By modern standards, Myst isn't all that exciting, perhaps, but it is beautiful and certainly makes you explore to put seemingly random stuff together. There are a lot of numbers and symbols you'll need to write down, more so than having to take notes on puzzle mechanisms or anything. Riven is a much more involved game and even more awesome looking than Myst, but I don't think they ever made a walkable version of it, so it might be a bit off-putting without the nostalgia factor. Still worth it though. Cool story and some really fun puzzles.
8:48 Metamorphosis is the process of an organism changing into a different organism.
Wow, I really need to check out the Myst games
Yeah i have only played a bit of the modern version, but the games have such a massively respected reputation, they're like proper no hand holding puzzles and exploration.
There's a Myst collection on steam that has all off Myst and it's sequels store.steampowered.com/bundle/8699/Myst_25th_Anniversary_Collection/
that is.. 10/10 amazing o-o
Valla-Chan does some awesome maps!
Thank you for watching and for commenting too :D
@@ngeruma You're welcome :D and i will have to definitely Check them out! ^^
Myst inspired? Wow!
All of Valla-Chan's maps i've played so far have been so well done, their really good at nailing a 'vibe" of a game like this.
Thank you for watching!
question: what is your opinion on portal: forbidden testing tracks? you seemingly voice acted for it, and im curious what you think of it
I haven't played it yet iv'e got it installed for when i get a chance to start it though, along side reloaded lol :D
Thanks for watching
it is a damned pretty map, a real Riven vibe, the 2nd Myst game,
Edit: Definitely Riven
This feels more like Riven then?
I haven't played Riven at all really, only a tiny bit of the modern version of Myst.
Thank you for watching and for commenting too
This looks SHOCKINGLY good, another goddamn impressive Hammer work.
Each episode that features those wonky adventure maps, I'm even more shocked by the quality of them every time..
Glad you're enjoying the more experimental 'weird' map videos, it's awesome to see what the talented and creative people in the portal community can come up with given the tools and the freedom :D
And as always, thank you for watching and for the comments!
