Also very important for new HL's to know would be that HL cannot change his guard direction, and must queue inputs to get a GB out of an offensive heavy feint. Lastly, when throwing a lot of offensive lights, switching guard direction too much while inputting lights can bug you back to defensive, but if you dont switch/switch once and queue the light, you should be fine. Switching guard twice or trying to light on delayed timing seems to cause the bug. Cheers!

As a fairly skilled player (my rep is 32 if I remember correctly, but I can put up a very good fight against rep 50 60 or even 70 players) and a highlander main, I will still watch the video to see and rate how accurate/correct and difficult is your “guide” to follow… And unsurprisingly, it was accurate (mostly) and pretty easy to follow, good job Slade Note: You did mention and talked about the importance of stamina but you didn’t really put an emphasise on how important it is to manage it as it can be crucial to an outcome of a fight so I find that part inaccurate.

I hate to lose out of stupidity because he is the only hero where I sometimes just forget what I have to do. I am mega often tacked by doge attacks but can't react to it so quickly and cancel the kick in the grabe at least sometimes. I celebrate his way of playing but I don't quite understand When I should go into off mode, most are brought out directly by an undoge attack. Does anyone have any tips? And I know in one day to learn a char perfect is impossible but at bp it went directly better on the first day and highlander I am partly desperate even though I often win. So if anyone could help aprreciate it.
he just got a rework so a few things are missing in this guide, he can do a dodge attack in offensive mode, he feint his kick, he can dodge forward grab which is faster, and he can also get a guaranteed top heavy from guard break!! Continue too practice with him he isn't the easiest character too learn , which makes his skill gap way harder for beginner players you'll get use too him and the way he moves !!
@@TVOSSlade Ty a lot already now that u can basically faint the kick in the grab to tackle that doge attack from ur opponent. But like u said just fight and practice. I mean at the start of the day i was completely lost with him now it goes better then before much tbh. Just need to know how to conter the undoge attack from my opponets perfectly. What would u do if u in stance and want to attack but hes doing a undogeable attack? Would u rather cancel the stance and go for a parry or do that kick faint into grab? But ty for ur answer
@@princeadi5124 if the opponent throws an undodgable attack you will never catch it with the Kick, Feint too Grab, you will have too cancel Offensive mode and parry hope that helps dawg 😊

They made him completely overpowered and broken almost impossible to beat in training arena with PK. Just hyperarmours through everything faster than PK can land any opener shit makes no sense and the light spam is unreactable unless you just guess the direction correctly
When you see your guard you are in defensive mode. When you hold down your heavy attack button and have the sword on your back you are in offensive mode you only throw unblockable attacks in that mode.
When you do the dodge forward heavy you would use your right stick too switch sides too the left or right while selecting the heavy attack button ! If you need more help shoot me a friend request !
