The reason people in their 20s(btw I'm 19) say that bands like Westlife, BSB, Blue, Boyzone are "better" compared to bands of today, they don't mean it in the sense that the new bands suck. It's just that, these songs are really touching, they stay with you after you listen to them. since 2010-2011, most songs have become disposable; you like it for a while, then you forget about it. This is something music(especially bands) has lost; music doesn't touch our hearts anymore, except a handful of songs maybe.

When Britney Spears, Back Street Boys, Westlife, N’Sync, Christina Aguilera, Destiny’s Child, Spice Girls and many others just ruled the entire freaking world in the late 90s and early 00s : the best times ever! Nothing and no one will ever come close to it. Pure POP and magic at their finest! I wish so bad I could go back in time just to live it all again. 90s kids just rock!
