Well done, clear explanation and clear camera work. I appreciate you showing us this, so we can do it ourselves. I like your wrench with multiple sockets that rotates in one tool. Im going to look for that and the spring clamps. I like that you used only hand tools and no electric ones. Thank you!
Hi, great video man Could you give reasons why uou changed fhe strut, also, when do you determine the shocks and sprinfs are worn (if no leaks on shocks)
Awesome vid, assisted me greatly changing out my own. Im curious on your tools though because they look like they would of made it more of a breeze to do.
Yes & like practically any job (not just car servicing) if you have the right tools it'll just make the whole damn scenario so much easier & as you say, a BREEZE!! Since getting into DIY car servicing & consequently watching heaps of "UA-cam" videos on the subject, (superb) I've purchased a number tools to help me with the various jobs I've taken on in doing my own servicing due to workshop charges being over the bloody Moon!! I'm not buying expensive & professional workshop tools just lower & middle level tools that are relatively cheap as I only intend using them on my own vehicle/family & consequently they will not be heavily used & should last a little while, if they don't last too bad!! My attitude to vehicle servicing has changed & where possible I now do as much of it as I can myself & guess what, I'm damn well enjoying it as it has given me another interest!! Finally I'm not a mechanic but I've certainly leant a hell of a lot in recent times!! Changing a front strut assembly, brake disc's & rotors etc, etc doesn't even frighten me anymore although previously it would have scared the crap outta me just by looking at the whole assembly, never mind about doing the job itself!! Bring it on!! (yeah right)
Esta mal, ajustar el perno con el alicate de presion en la barra del amortiguador, MUY MAL, porque puede hacer rayaduras y luego se sale el liquido....MUY MAL.
