Every grease trap stinks to high heaven, and you can't ever get used to it ... ever. Bloody tenants never clear them and then plead ignorance when they are crammed full of rancid fat.
agreed i was thinking jesus if ollie is saying "man thats poison" that must be pretty bad i used to work in a place that got grease traps pumped bi-weekly and it always smelled horrible so i cant imagine how putrid it must be after a few years of sitting
Good golly Miss Molly! What a disaster of old, stinky grease trap. When I laid eyes on that, I was thankful that it was not under pressure. You did a great unblock & cleanup, Ollie. From beautiful Senoia, Georgia, US of A!
Amazing.. seems like not that long ago we were celebrating 700 episodes... now here we are counting down to 800. Way to go!! all around the planet people have started following along the adventures of drain clearing.
Bless you... firstly i just realized you quite lucky to be able to leave your van open like that and work without your tools disappearing. Secondly I'm sure Ben is very happy now the working area is now the cleanest its been in over 20 years
The first video I've heard you say something twice about the smell. Had a waste oil container at a previous job and when they'd come pump it it was like no smell I had ever experienced. Simply terrible. Props Oliver!
Love how thorough and courteous you are, you do an excellent job and provide amazing service. And you have a bit of fun while you're at it! I have a strong feeling that that's why so many people like watching your videos. Oh and rattie, can't forget him! Keep up the amazing work 👍🐀
I know there are shops that would have walked away from that job. And I remember the grease traps from my days at McDonalds and when the local fast food place would get their trap cleared. That stench is nearly indescribable. You and Ratty are brave folk, indeed !!
I once had the pleasure of experiencing the stench of an old grease trap being cleaned. From a distance. There are no words for it, rotten eggs and fart spray combined don't even come close to how vomit-inducing it is. I'd totally understand if the guy cleaning these traps wore an oxygen mask. But for our crazy hero Olly, it's just another "smells like poison" day... Quite motivational, really. If Olly can have a go at this spawn of Satan, then I have no right to complain about the odd odour from a sewer somewhere.
I have been following your channel for a long time. Never, not once at all have I ever seen you gag or complain. You are truly a saint and a fine example to people. Good attitude and spirit. That is why I look for your channel first every time i open Youtude.
you have to apreciate the subtle cuts at the end of the video, ratty appears on the grease cover, then on the big trap then on his shoulder. perfect cuts, kinda like an easter egg in the recent videos :)
Because Ollie has great videos! Grease is a very bad smell, there is a grease dumpster across the street from where I work, and on a breezy day, you can smell it. Yuck! You the Man Ollie! Keep up the great work. Your fan from America
Its really cool and convenient that a lot of people in Australia seem to have quick connects for their hoses. I a lot of people in the US dont have them.
I'm sitting here wondering if he wears eye protection. I've just discovered his channel and there are lots of videos of him clearing out dookie drains where the water is king of splashing and misting around. How many times has this guy gotten pink eye? Maybe he's in a constant state of pink eye, actually.
🇳🇱as usual Ollie does the dirty work and ratty does the final check so another great video from Ollie the best there is greetings from a very hot Netherlands Hans👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎🍀
Those drains were a mess! As usual you sorted it. Good job Ollie. ALL GOOD 👍 (in the end!) Im so glad you didnt put your hand into that grease trap just wearing your orange gloves 🤢🤮😱
Excellent work and advice for your customer. I can understand your hate of grease traps! I bet it didn’t half hum! Ratty is putting himself about too. Ps that poor lady nearly got your greasy glove in her face 😂😂😂
I can imagine you don;t like greasetraps, what an absolute mess. And good to see Ratty is doing the final inspection on the job, always good to have a specialist checking your work.
Another great video, always so interesting. Hopefully your kit isn't slippery for the next week!!!! P.s Check the oil levels in your jetter, she sounds a little bit rattly....
The smell of grease Ahhhh , had a drain connected from a kitchen threw the laundry the smell was so bad they empty that part of the building. Probably could smell that at the street . We from a Orange degreaser smelled great melted grease chucks to mush . Bad thing cost was $50.00 a gallon but worked great ,would burn skin ,clothes, eyes, metal .
Ollie, Thanks for Subtitles on... WOW a lot of Greases They never clean up! Oh Boy!!! Great work! Thumbs up! Cheers! But your smart idea uses Grace release... 👍👍👍👍🤟
Ollie the Greece trap had to smelled really bad but the storm water one was easy to clear.but u figured it out and got it flowing all good mate si u on the next one 👍👍👍👍👍
That was a mess, the grease trap was just nasty.I take it Asian restaurant.one thing about it,you do have job security.customer should be very happy and as his customers.you killed it.grease trap another thing.I’m just glad you were able to get it cleaned out.better man than me.great video.kudos.nice to see ratty supervising.😎😎😎👍👍👍
The moment you lifted the grease trap cover was like in Indiana Jones when they opened the Ark 😂 Amazing work as usual!! Edit: I’m familiar with what a normally serviced grease trap smells like, I can only imagine what it was like in there 😬
the whole point of a grease gap, is to prevent grease to get into the canal. certainly it can only work if it is being maintained. that means: clean it once a year.
I used to do sign service on restaurants...that grease is smelly and slippery and hard to clean your clothes after working around it... some roofs are coated in it from older restaurants and in summer it can make you sick from the smell... only thing worse was pigeon poop and carcasses inside signs...sometimes it is a foot deep and that smell on a hot day can make you hurl...plus it is dangerous too for diseases....i don't miss those days...
Great job Ollie but next time make the client get the grease trap emptied before you are called😂 that was discussing. I would have closed the lid and said noway.
Ratty is everywhere today, or he’s been cloned! Thanks Ollie for a great triple-feature! Definitely appreciate your hard work, expertise, and excellent videos!
LOL, what' funny is that Ollie was here about 4 years ago and had to do the same thing, figure out where the hell the pipes were. Probably does so many of these, they all blur together.
Hey , just a heads up of what we use in aircraft industry to remove “grease” from chemical toilets. The stuff we use is Celeste Sani-Tank.. it has enzymes that break down organic greases and stains. No cheap but may be a alternate to your expensive grease away stuff.
Grease traps smell unbelievably. That one seemed to have stewed a bit to long. Idk if it would help, but a tiny hole in the cap might allow it to go further. Was my first thought after you said how much it costs.
I love watching the 3 Australian Drain blokes clearing the drains on thro different channels, but i admit i do find myself linking certain areas to each of them, when i see household drains eg sewers or the like i instantly think of Ollie, storm water then i think of Gavin and greese traps is Bruce, i love seeing how the others clear these drains too but i still find myself thinking of the others (have said simular on Gavins and Bruces channels too lol, know there are other channels that do drain clearing but the three in Australia are def the best of the best 💖💖💖
YUCKYYYYYYY! Ollie you’re a superhero!!
👏👏👏👏👏👍
That place is now probably cleaner than its been in 15 years.
15?! I would say at least 16!
Yep, they wanted Ollie to leave it squeaky clean but it was an absolute, ankle-deep mess for years before he got there 🤮🤦♂
I think this is the very first time I've ever heard Ollie go on about the smell. That must be real bad.
I think this might be the first I've ever seen him bother to keep his gloves intact, and even change pairs.
Every grease trap stinks to high heaven, and you can't ever get used to it ... ever. Bloody tenants never clear them and then plead ignorance when they are crammed full of rancid fat.

It must be really bad of Ollie is saying it is considering how often he deals with blocked sewers 🤢
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 ollie back with another 💥💥💥 love the content ollie keep it up... From Phx AZ USA
Good golly Miss Molly! What a disaster of old, stinky grease trap. When I laid eyes on that, I was thankful that it was not under pressure. You did a great unblock & cleanup, Ollie. From beautiful Senoia, Georgia, US of A!
Ha. So failing to maintain a grease trap and then ignoring it until the over spill blocks the storm water 🙄 nice little ‘not my job’ to save the day 😂
Ben definitely did not seem appreciative of Ollie’s expertise.
Right, is it blocked 🧐nope, just your perception sir, whatever that may be. Wonder if he was missing a few digits off that next paycheck!?!
Ollie always finds the dirty jobs and absolutely kills it. Great job Ollie. God bless you my friend.
This was truly one of the best showing just how good Ollie is at his job, a master of his trade.
What a great partner you have! Ratty with his nose in there all the way! Such a bright spot when you post a video thank you!
That was awesome! Hats off to you and Ratty from Mississippi USA 😊
DA won’t let this pit stop slow him down. He’s found the perfect release to a greasy mess. Best channel on UA-cam! Cheers from South Florida.
👍🐀
Nothing hides from you. Great job.👍🐀was a good help.

Did somebody say 'Grease Trap'??? I bloody love them haha.
Cheers for another ripper video, Ollie!!
Ratty was there for Ollie support through the whole video! What a friend indeed!
I was looking the whole video and could not find him tell he poured the grease release on him😂😂😂
@@KUSHxKiNG He was on a brick next to the small grease drain at 1:15 and most of the video! A real trooper!😊
Welcome to my living room Ollie! Great to have you!! 🚽
Ollie you are definitely the main man, you deserve a medal after that one 🥰
Ninja turtle juice in the thumbnail is always a sign of a good video.
The sight of that grease trap is enough to give me nightmares, and I can't smell it from here. Ollie you are one tough hombre.
AWESOME JOB OF CLEARING ÀLL THOSE DRAIN'S GREAT VIDEO DRAIN ADDICT ENJOYED IT SEE YOU NEXT TIME
I have been following your channel for a long time. Never, not once at all have I ever seen you gag or complain. You are truly a saint and a fine example to people. Good attitude and spirit. That is why I look for your channel first every time i open Youtude.
Great episode! Ollie was the grease buster! All Good!
Drain Cleaning Australia is going to love watching you work on this grease trap.
you have to apreciate the subtle cuts at the end of the video, ratty appears on the grease cover, then on the big trap then on his shoulder.

Your an Ultimate Professional. Absolute respect for you.
All good!
Its really cool and convenient that a lot of people in Australia seem to have quick connects for their hoses. I a lot of people in the US dont have them.
Same in the UK.
That’s because literally every hose set sold at stores has quick connect fittings included. Sometimes they even include the screw on bit for the tap.
you can have 'em - they cut the waterflow by about 60%
Man, your eyes, nose, and brain must be working overtime telling your stomach it’s nothing to get upset about. Good job.
There is no way half of us could even stand next to that without chucking our guts up🤢🤢🤢🤢
Amen
His senses are probably completely dulled at this point lol
@@fyler1 It’s amazing how the human body can adapt to situations like that.

You're quite a guy Ollie. Well done and a 👍 as always. God bless.
Always happy to see my favorite UA-camr videos. Good one 👏
Mate you need a medal for the work you do. Good on ya mate!
YUCK! What a mess!!
Good job, Ollie!
straight home and a shower Mr Ollie🚿, what a greasy mess that was, you did really well sorting that out 👍
I kind of relate Ollie to one of the Mario Brothers. People clog em, he clears em. Best clog clearer in Australia! Cheers Ollie!!🇦🇺
🇳🇱as usual Ollie does the dirty work and ratty does the final check so another great video from Ollie the best there is greetings from a very hot Netherlands Hans👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎🍀

I’ve watched all your videos and I don’t think you’ve ever complained about smell. So you know this one has to be really bad. Glad to see ratty back.
oh he had a few, very few but there are some. one even where he wanted to trow up
Never heard Ollie complain about the smell before, so if he says it stinks......IT REALLY STINKS.....
Grease traps are the worst. Very high level of gag....
I can imagine you don;t like greasetraps, what an absolute mess. And good to see Ratty is doing the final inspection on the job, always good to have a specialist checking your work.
Not even his job to clear it with the jet that should be pumped out
Not all hero’s wear capes, some wear the glove of destiny!💪
True professional under extreme working conditions 👏 👍.
Never. Never have I ever seen Ollie remove gloves that aren’t in shreds before the job is done
All good! Nice job and you made it rain at the end. Perfect.
You are magical bro, how you breathe that impresses me a lot😮

I feel like my hands were greasy after watching this! Nice work as always Ollie, all good 💯

“I don’t like grease traps, Ben”, probably the best quote of the video. They are nasty!

Thank goodness for the gauntlet! Yikes! I'd be worried about taking a misstep and going "man down" in that pit of despair, too! Lol.
Ollie the Chuck Norris of drain clear ups.
Thats one of the few occasions ive seen Ollie change gloves haha not even when theyre all ripped up
Great job! On to number 800! WOW!
