Hey I have a question ik French ring is base around malinois and knvp around Dutch shepherds but I have been looking into French ring n I want to be different I’m doing a lot of research on Dutch shepherds but I’ve been asking why I done see Dutch shepherds in French ring n I have seen dobermans gsd in the sport so why not that breed someone told me they are harder to train than mals are a lil heavier and has less endurance in your opinion can a Dutch shepherd excel in French ring? In general
I think mal and dutch are better at backward walking, also wall scaling. But gs and dobe with good genetics can be trained to do it, I would guess. Mals are known for great leaps. Basically French ring is lower body bites, ipo is upper body bites. Similar precision obedience. But ya gotta admit, the mals look cool doin it. Love the object guard here!
if you talk about excelling, Malins are number one in any working competition: rings and igp. Other breeds originally bred for personal defence (rotties, boxers, dobies ecc.) can be extremely good in Igp but physically can't endure rings. but to answer your question, dutch shepherds, with good working lines, can excel in French ring (or any other ring), but I have never seen or heard of a dutch shepherds beating a Malin in competition.
@Primalist you would have been correct if rings were just about biting. But they are not. And i stand my point, i have never seen a dutch beat a malin in any ring or igp competition. With this i repeat, dutches are GREAT dogs, but in rings and IGP malins are the best.
@Primalist but that is not true. There is a reason why you see mainly malins in those competitions. Handlers know what dog has the qualities to compete and to compete good, it just so happens that malins have them. The reason why malins are so popular in rings is because they were bred for them, so they have certain qualities that other breeds, bred for other porpuses (dutch shepherds were bred to herd, and as good as they can be, they are not malins )do not have. That's why you do not see so many d.s. or other dogs in rings. It's not about outcasting other breeds, it's about what breed has it in them to peak at high levels and do it best.
@Primalist nope. Even in knpv there are 50 50 dutch and malin, even though knpv was made for d.s.and since no pedigree is required Dutch Shepherds found in the KNPV program have a strong influence of Malinois blood in them. The registered ones come from targeted breeders. With this, in rings, a malin will be a better choice if what you are looking for is placement in high level competition.
My malinois is not able to do this. Genetics and good breeding play a role. She (my mal) was a rescue and has piss poor genetics. Not all dogs are created equal
Come for me. I dare you. Let’s end this. They’re trained. They’re loyal. We are a pact. I refuse to be your victim. Move on quietly. Come for me son. You’d be smarter to move along and let bygones be bygones... you’ve been misinformed. Just move on.
@@thatonedog819 she’s amazing and happy and loyal. Non aggressive socially. Super speed, strength and a good stable mentality. Runs and trains about four to five hours daily. We are essentially a pack. She’s naturally protective of us all. We got this :). P.S. she’s a working dog. Not of the show line.
These dogs are better trained than most humans.
The

What city in California?
Would have been good to watch if it wasn't for the dang wind noise. geeze
best high drive dog exercise rig ever- malinois powered fun- lets the dog goooo full blast under excellent dog control- www.dogpoweredscooter.com
all malinois can do this.
only trained malinois can do this. This is a very high level of precision obedience. No training, no obedience.
My malinois is not able to do this. Genetics and good breeding play a role. She (my mal) was a rescue and has piss poor genetics. Not all dogs are created equal
Do you mean that ring-sport is forbidden in California? Grt
Noo, the dogs name is "Lethal" and this event took place in California.
@@The_VANtastic_Pack thank you, I understand now😂. keep up the nice work

That vast majority of bite work sport dogs are NOT suitable for actual protection or apprehension work
