@DBZSkills I first played it in a mall demo desk/kiosk guy and it was the frieza fight that we could only demo. My brothers and I thought it was amazing. I still play it and admire the graphics ever time. Just how the eyes and bodies move and look it's stunning really. It's a shame it couldn't cook longer and get the Buu saga
I legit never got to play a demo, it was one of the first games we got on the PS3 when it came out. I was going in completely blind and oh man, it was a beautiful time. I miss those days

Burst limit with the music cutting off right before frieza fires is just chefs kiss. Burst limit holds a special place in my heart but dang Kakarots was somethin else! It was almost like they were trying to make it more “realistic” in a sense. Idk but both go hard 💯
On everything i love, Burst Limit is still fire af. It really hits different and the music is fire

Kakarot will of course look the best, but I really liked Burst Limit's approach. Goku stared back at where he shot for a bit, meaning he probably did not want it to come to that in the end, but his expression was still angry, showing how the Super Saiyan transformation really changed him. It also looked really good as a bonus
Burst Limit just looks so clean. It’s really between that and Kakarot for sure. I’m hoping Sparking Zero does the story part of it really good

Fun Fact: The 'Angry Kamehameha' is not an actual Kamehameha. It's just a powerful ki blast. It was named that way by the Budokai Tenkaichi games.

YES! Burst limit goes crazy!!! Kakarot though definitely takes #1 because the emotions and anger that Goku really portrayed was perfect
Its crazy how towards the beginning when gokue finishes off frieza, he has a more angry like "i spared you... after you BEGGED me, and this is whay you choose to do???!!!!!!"
But fighterz and onward he has a slightly sympathetic look like "you fool... you couldve lived"
I like the kakarot approach when he is yelling at frieza, it hits different

There are many games that can recreate any dragón ball scene better or worse. But DBZ kakarot doesn't recreate anything. They just make It much better than the original. That's cyberconnect2 style

Burst Limit looks amazing even by today's standards. Crazy how a game from 2008 holds up today.

1:07 Tenkaichi 2 will always be the best, because it's chargeable in-game with no cutscene. It grows stronger the longer you hold the button

I feel like they have to, especially since Kakarot did it and that was very recent. Imagine if that’s a what if scenario where Frieza doesn’t get cut in half! There’s so many different ideas
@DBZSkills I would definitely like a scenario where he doesn't get sliced, but I hope they realize we've grown up. I also hope the other what if stories go to the next scenario in the story. I feel like it's going to be a what if and then ends. Make sense?
Yeah i feel like it won’t continue into another new “what if” either, it will just be a what if in that moment but then plays out to be the typical story we already know
@@immortalfallen I'm a bit concerned about this. Yes, we've grown up. But this game seems to be massively aimed towards Super, which by comparison is extremely childish and obviously seeks to appeal more towards kids opposed to us OGs
@damondriver6363 you raise a good point. It does seem to be a lot of super in it, but that could just be from the demo we've seen. Of course, they are going to want to show off the new moves and graphics with more updated characters. It's just something pleasing about seeing frieza cut down by goku and then trunks.

Man Kakarot wasn't a perfect game, but in terms of story and cutscenes it's a beast. The VAs especially did a great job selling the characters, Goku finally sounds legit angry and Frieza sounds like a complete psychotic lunatic.
The VA's KILLED it, i loveeeeee it
Tries to let him get hit by his own attack frieza dodges, goku punches him back down and tells him to dodge. Then still giving frieza energy knowing fully well he won't change. Now ain't goku the smartest apple of the bunch 😀

If you want an Angry Kamehameha just look at any game where Goku does a one handed blue wave attack. If you want the attack Goku used to defeat Frieza then Kakarot takes it and it's not even close.

From the list of dbz games i saw. Infinite world wasn’t on there so i didn’t think there was one. Xenoverse 2 technically doesn’t have an angry kamehameha, its some other name for a blast so i kept it out

I think a lot of the recording nowadays is done at home for some of the actors so they just send in their work. It could be that but i mean they also weren’t matching the lip flaps anyway

It’s not immersive, Goku‘s ultimate as a super sayain could be a Super Kamehameha or something similar.
Changing the name of a ki blast into a Kamehameha with an „angry“ personality sounds like an idea of children in a sandbox.
