Yeah no, swearing is crazy to me. I used to cuss A WHOLE LOT but when God called me back to Him, He stripped it away without me even having to ask/pray about it. He removed everything that was not OF HIM from cussing to people to music & everything in between. Tim preaches a real good word from time to time but hearing him cuss like that let’s me know issa DUB! Unacceptable. I like to know that any pastor I follow lives as righteously as possible, no one is perfect but swearing is simply NOT necessary.
The same happened to me too, God took away my desire to drink alcohol, I am alcohol free now, alcohol? Who needs it? Not me! God cleaned my potty mouth that was so used to swearing I couldn't stop on my own. Took away my depression, anxiety and panic attacks, I don't listen to secular music no more, just worshipping Christian gospel and Christian rap. My Heavenly Father has helped me more times than I can count. I can never live my life without Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is my life!
Everyday I struggle with this!! Mainly @ work!! I know it is not rite. This man has came to my church my Pastors know him been going to the church for two years I just joined the church!! Something bout him did not sit rite on the inside. He needs to repent. I am daily striving to be in God’s will. So I know if God did it for you .. He is gonna do it for me!! Thank you
Everyone ignores culture. Cultural perspective informs your worldview as well. I am suspicious of a lot of religious people from different cultural background declaring themselves as the oracles of God when they still cling to their cultural origins. Most cultures are built on the lies of demons. Islam, Buddhism, Santeria, Voodoo, etc….you may say those are religions. But they are also people’s cultures! So now, you speaking the word of God? I wonder what spirit is really in activation here. Just something to consider that most ppl don’t. Scripture says “Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God” (1 John 4:1).
Tim Ross is always trying to prove that we’re still human and relate to people. We know we’re human already and you don’t have to be relatable to a fault in order to spread the gospel.

Honestly, Tim Ross "started" well, but the quick fame with his podcast somehow went to his head, made him spiritually lax, carnally tolerant, and for fear of probably losing viewers, he had even began saying the Bible was "unclear" about things that it IS EXPRESSLY CLEAR about, he definitely loves the Lord and definitely loves the Word, but yes he needs our prayers to come back to center, because its clear the fast notoriety took him into a whirlwind he didn't have stable footing for, Father send and use someone to minister wisdom to Tim and to help him navigate remaining a light in darkness with a large platform, not succumbing to the deception of being reduced to a worldly shadow.
Don't be deceived. He does not love the Lord. The Bible says, "If you love me, keep my commandments. This man loves himself and his on will and way. People who love the Lord would seek his face and turn from their wicked ways and if we sin are quick to repent and learn from it. He should be ashamed of himself. God has a standard for his children that he is living beneath.
Can one’s cultural perspective or worldview affect their spiritual walk? No one ever exams this reality. Bc so much of the discord is culturally based. God warned king Solomon about marrying women who were not Hebrew. There is a significance here. Is it the cultural impact? Them bringing a different perspective based on their pagan culture. A lot of cultures are demon based and saturated. We never exam this issue.

Thank you for speaking the truth because I was also living a lukewarm Christian lifestyle convinced that I'm on the right path but now I can see God's power in my life and becoming more and more like Christ. God delivered me from smoking weed and I have more life in me. I used to be tormented by evil thoughts and escape with weed and it only worked a few times but the longer I was on it, the worse I was getting. Jesus changed my life. Thanks for helping because at that time I thought weed was good and it comes from nature so it has to come from God. You and Isaiah Saldivar helped me see the truth. I’ve noticed a lot of those “reformed” people have issues with us “hearing in the spirit” and being “led by the spirit” because everything is academic and analytical with them because they’re depending soo much on their understanding. This is something I’ve noticed a lot.
I am a born again Christian. I was raised Catholic, but I decided to become a Christian and I got baptized when I was 23. I try to live my life the way God want’s me to. But, believe me, I will be the first one to admit that I have screwed up many times. I still always kept God in my life, I have always prayed, but not just prayed, but really talk to God!! I have conversations with Jesus just about every day of my life!! ❤❤❤. And when I mess up, like fighting with a family member, or saying curse words, or maybe even telling little lies, like not to hurt someone’s feelings or to surprise someone, I still will talk to Jesus and ask him to please forgive me, and I always ask the Holy Spirit to guide me and to show me the path to Jesus. I ask the Holy Spirit to help me understand things when I am reading my Bible, I ask him to guide me in to what to say to someone that needs Jesus in their life. I ask the Holy Spirit a lot to help me and guide me into being the Christian that God wants me to be. I could go on and on and on, lol, but I won’t. God Bless everyone Be safe, be kind, be helpful,

Yes, I listen to Marcus (I like his sincerity)…but I try to use discernment based on reading the Bible for years using different translations for understanding. Having said that, I see Marcus’s heart (Lord, bless him), but to make a big to do about the word “Trinity” doesn’t make sense. While the Bible doesn’t actually say the word, it does clearly imply it. Look in Genesis 1 (….let “us” make man in “our” own image…). Who is the Us and We being referred to? No, Trinity isn’t stated specifically, but it’s implied. Look at John 1…” in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and the Word is God. It’s understood Word refers to Christ/Holy Spirit. Again, no, Trinity isn’t mentioned, but it’s implied (3 in 1). In other books of the Old Testament, God is referred to as Elohim (that’s plural), Eloi, or El is singular for God. So, the actual word Trinity is not stated in Scripture, but it is implied. What’s the doctrinal argument or controversy here? There is none. God has to be related to by faith, not according to our human senses, and rationale. Remember, God is a supernatural being. He sets the laws of nature, he’s not subject to them. So arguing the word is just a wasted effort in semantics…and can be a entryway for the devil depending on the spiritually maturity level of the listener.

I’m all about finding a balance between legalism and complacent compromise. But I will always believe cursing is a sin. It’s a reflection of what’s in your heart. That’s why it’s so satisfying to your flesh and so offensive to your spirit. If someone cusses like that as a born again believer, I believe there is a conscience issue period.

@msarchieve1749 I don't know whose saved and whose not. That's only something God knows. I'm not a cussing Christian but cussing isn't something that removes someone's salvation. Trusting in Jesus is what makes someone saved. Who made certain words cuss words anyway? Those words didn't even exist in biblical times and we can use other words today to express the exact same thoughts. You can easily develop a legalistic mindset when you walk around saying whose saved and whose not, believe me I've been there. None of us deserve heaven, it's only by the grace of God and yes all of us have sinned since we've become Christian. I don't know the man so I can't say whether he is saved or not and neither can you.

@msarchieve1749 Now you are telling me what I believe, smh. All I'm saying is be careful when passing judgement on others, especially people that you don't know. This is actually a greater issue that I have with Christian UA-cam today as a whole. We waste a lot of time with our opinions about whose doing it right and whose doing it wrong in the faith instead of focusing on the harder heartwork of making sure our walk is in tact. Jesus said to remove the log in our eye before removing the speck or of our brothers eye. Many people highlight certain sins that others commit but puff themselves up with pride because they don't do those things. Pride is a sin as well, does that make someone not saved? I'm not justifying sin in anyway because it has consequences. Trusting is Jesus keeps us from practicing a lifestyle of sin but it doesn't keep us from sin altogether while we are in these flesh bodies because we also have a will. At times we may give in to a fleshly desire and it doesn't just have to be sex, drugs, and alcohol. It can be doubting, fear, a bad ungrateful attitude, etc. Salvation happens in a moment, sanctification (the process of becoming Christ like) takes a lifetime. Do you understand what I'm saying? I'm not saying you are a legalist, but that type of attitude can tread closely to that line. You can point out sin and that's fine, but none of us can keep the whole law (read the whole book of Galatians). So like I was saying it's not our place to say this person isn't saved, someone can say that about you or me, does that make it true? Only you and God know

This is one of the most balance joints I’ve seen from Marcus. I don’t fully agree with his point but I feel like he expressed his concern well and with compassion. I’m not one who uses strong language because I don’t feel HS would allow me to do so. I also am mature enough in the faith to know that just because HS convicts “ME” of something doesn’t mean He is convicting all Christian’s of it. We all have different graces for the purpose He has for us in this life. All this to say using four letter words isn’t a salvation issue. Let’s keep it moving in unity.
I watched his interview with Montell Jordan. The thing that struck me in that video is when he said "I am very intentional with my words". Then he went on to say "that is why you will never find a video of me cussing in the pulpit". Then he said that he uses "strong words" when he has strong feelings. So my thoughts are if you can be that intentional and you don't cuss in church then you know it is wrong.
Tim stepped down from being a Pastor. He also said his podcast is not a Christian podcast..holding him to standards as if he is still a Pastor is not fair. Perhaps he stepped down so he wouldn’t be judged by the standards of a leader. He should be able to speak freely now. If you don’t agree, that’s okay , it’s just his opinion..He doesn’t have a church now so all his listeners should have their own church and leader they get spiritual guidance from. He’s just a podcaster now !! This guy should stop wasting his time and quit calling names. We see his obvious frustration and it takes away from the real teaching he could be doing ..that’s sad ..🙏
Marcus I been following and listening to you since the army and I believe what you say and I know that you are a prophet of God and I try not to listen and discern people that are truly not of God that’s why God wants us to study the word and learn it for ourselves so we want be deceive. It's also sad because I know a few people who visited my church who talked about attending his church in Dallas and like you say Marcus they love going there because they 're accepting to hearing a word on Sunday and going back to their filth throughout the week. There are no sectors of Christianity. To be a Christian is to be Christ like. When you look like the world, sound like the world and act like the world, you are not a Christian. WHY IS TIM ROSS CURSING; and comfortably? I saw him speak at Transformation Church, Tulsa. I don’t know when this happened, but Jesus is on the road heading back. Wow! I am surprised and troubled. Troubled for the many ways the devil has slowly slid his behaviors in the lives of those of us who advertise we are Christians. My Lord! Over the past decades, we set back and unknowingly watched churches transform into secular behaviors. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I totally agree. I am a Christian who was born again almost three years ago, just on my own. I heard God calling to me to read the Bible because I didn’t understand why some Christians acted this way and said they were followers of Christ when they were acting in ways that Jesus would not. I know now that Christians aren’t perfect, but come on. I know I was born again; I felt it. But I started watching Ruslan videos the past couple of days ands now I’m questioning whether or not I’m a real Christian, or if I’m a Gnostic because I think it’s a special thing to be born again and know the truth. I know that so many people don’t-yet. It took me 39 years. Maybe everyone WILL be saved, but why do I have it now?? I know I’m not better than anyone else, but I do know that I have a priceless treasure inside of me that is very special. Is that Gnosticism? I needed to hear this today, because I’ve been asking myself all day if I’m a real Christian because of some of the things Ruslan has said in his videos. Side note: I have so much love for Ruslan…he is someone who wants to learn everything to learn about Christian doctrine, and I am too. I love studying and researching everything Christian, but I think when you start getting down the rabbit hole of trying to figure everything out while matter-of-factly claiming that you know things that are impossible for us to know for sure, but as a human being at the same time NOT able to know the ways of God, isn’t that kind of getting away from the basic doctrine tought in the book of Job? I guess I’m just really confused here because some of his videos I really like, but some are leading me astray. The only thing right now that I can hang my hope on is that I had an experience when I came to realize that I was not worthy of salvation that I felt my heart change inside of me. I don’t know how else to describe it, but it was a supernatural feeling and I have never been the same. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t spend time with God. I believe I have the gift of discernment, but this is really confusing me. I also believe that I was recently given the gift of prophecy, but Ruslan says the only true prophets are the ones of the Old Testament….but doesn’t Paul say we should pray for the gift of prophecy?? I do hear things when I am deeply in prayer and communion with God. I believe they are coming from the Holy Spirit, and I have seen many of them come to pass. These are not just about end times, but promises he makes to me about personal things that come true. I don’t think that prophecy doesn’t exist anymore, and I would love to have a gentle and kind debate with him about it. As for cussing uncontrollably with no sign of conviction, I don’t understand how you can do that if you are truly born again. I know that God has mercy for us in abundance, but like you said, there is a change that happens in us that makes us not want to be that way anymore when we are born again; so I don’t understand that either. I immediately feel bad when a cuss word slips out, and I used to have really bad sailors mouth! So I don’t get that. It seems like an abuse of God’s grace.
Please keep building your relationship with Jesus Christ and stay in your word and the Lord will lead and guide you to all truth. Don’t rely on man only but put your trust and faith in Jesus. Be blessed and stay encouraged in the Faith! 🙏🏽

Yeah no, swearing is crazy to me. I used to cuss A WHOLE LOT but when God called me back to Him, He stripped it away without me even having to ask/pray about it. He removed everything that was not OF HIM from cussing to people to music & everything in between. Tim preaches a real good word from time to time but hearing him cuss like that let’s me know issa DUB! Unacceptable. I like to know that any pastor I follow lives as righteously as possible, no one is perfect but swearing is simply NOT necessary.

Honestly, Tim Ross "started" well, but the quick fame with his podcast somehow went to his head, made him spiritually lax, carnally tolerant, and for fear of probably losing viewers, he had even began saying the Bible was "unclear" about things that it IS EXPRESSLY CLEAR about, he definitely loves the Lord and definitely loves the Word, but yes he needs our prayers to come back to center, because its clear the fast notoriety took him into a whirlwind he didn't have stable footing for, Father send and use someone to minister wisdom to Tim and to help him navigate remaining a light in darkness with a large platform, not succumbing to the deception of being reduced to a worldly shadow.
Don't be deceived. He does not love the Lord. The Bible says, "If you love me, keep my commandments. This man loves himself and his on will and way. People who love the Lord would seek his face and turn from their wicked ways and if we sin are quick to repent and learn from it. He should be ashamed of himself. God has a standard for his children that he is living beneath.

God delivered me from smoking weed and I have more life in me. I used to be tormented by evil thoughts and escape with weed and it only worked a few times but the longer I was on it, the worse I was getting. Jesus changed my life. I am a born again Christian. I was raised Catholic, but I decided to become a Christian and I got baptized when I was 23.
I try to live my life the way God want’s me to. But, believe me, I will be the first one to admit that I have screwed up many times. I still always kept God in my life, I have always prayed, but not just prayed, but really talk to God!! I have conversations with Jesus just about every day of my life!!

Yes, I listen to Marcus (I like his sincerity)…but I try to use discernment based on reading the Bible for years using different translations for understanding. Having said that, I see Marcus’s heart (Lord, bless him), but to make a big to do about the word “Trinity” doesn’t make sense. While the Bible doesn’t actually say the word, it does clearly imply it. Look in Genesis 1 (….let “us” make man in “our” own image…). Who is the Us and We being referred to? No, Trinity isn’t stated specifically, but it’s implied. Look at John 1…” in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and the Word is God. It’s understood Word refers to Christ/Holy Spirit. Again, no, Trinity isn’t mentioned, but it’s implied (3 in 1). In other books of the Old Testament, God is referred to as Elohim (that’s plural), Eloi, or El is singular for God. So, the actual word Trinity is not stated in Scripture, but it is implied. What’s the doctrinal argument or controversy here? There is none. God has to be related to by faith, not according to our human senses, and rationale. Remember, God is a supernatural being. He sets the laws of nature, he’s not subject to them. So arguing the word is just a wasted effort in semantics…and can be a entryway for the devil depending on the spiritually maturity level of the listener.

I’m all about finding a balance between legalism and complacent compromise. But I will always believe cursing is a sin. It’s a reflection of what’s in your heart. Trusting in Jesus is what makes someone saved. Who made certain words cuss words anyway? Those words didn't even exist in biblical times and we can use other words today to express the exact same thoughts. You can easily develop a legalistic mindset when you walk around saying whose saved and whose not, believe me I've been there. None of us deserve heaven, it's only by the grace of God and yes all of us have sinned since we've become Christian. This is actually a greater issue that I have with Christian UA-cam today as a whole. We waste a lot of time with our opinions about whose doing it right and whose doing it wrong in the faith instead of focusing on the harder heartwork of making sure our walk is in tact. Jesus said to remove the log in our eye before removing the speck or of our brothers eye. Many people highlight certain sins that others commit but puff themselves up with pride because they don't do those things. Pride is a sin as well, does that make someone not saved?
I'm not justifying sin in anyway because it has consequences. Trusting is Jesus keeps us from practicing a lifestyle of sin but it doesn't keep us from sin altogether while we are in these flesh bodies because we also have a will. At times we may give in to a fleshly desire and it doesn't just have to be sex, drugs, and alcohol. It can be doubting, fear, a bad ungrateful attitude, etc. Salvation happens in a moment, sanctification (the process of becoming Christ like) takes a lifetime. Do you understand what I'm saying? I'm not saying you are a legalist, but that type of attitude can tread closely to that line. You can point out sin and that's fine, but none of us can keep the whole law (read the whole book of Galatians). So like I was saying it's not our place to say this person isn't saved, someone can say that about you or me, does that make it true? Only you and God know

This is one of the most balance joints I’ve seen from Marcus. I don’t fully agree with his point but I feel like he expressed his concern well and with compassion. I’m not one who uses strong language because I don’t feel HS would allow me to do so. I also am mature enough in the faith to know that just because HS convicts “ME” of something doesn’t mean He is convicting all Christian’s of it. We all have different graces for the purpose He has for us in this life. All this to say using four letter words isn’t a salvation issue. Let’s keep it moving in unity.
I watched his interview with Montell Jordan. The thing that struck me in that video is when he said "I am very intentional with my words". Then he went on to say "that is why you will never find a video of me cussing in the pulpit". Then he said that he uses "strong words" when he has strong feelings. So my thoughts are if you can be that intentional and you don't cuss in church then you know it is wrong.
Tim stepped down from being a Pastor. He also said his podcast is not a Christian podcast..holding him to standards as if he is still a Pastor is not fair. Perhaps he stepped down so he wouldn’t be judged by the standards of a leader. He should be able to speak freely now. If you don’t agree, that’s okay , it’s just his opinion..He doesn’t have a church now so all his listeners should have their own church and leader they get spiritual guidance from. He’s just a podcaster now !! This guy should stop wasting his time and quit calling names. We see his obvious frustration and it takes away from the real teaching he could be doing ..that’s sad ..🙏

Having a form of Godliness but denying the power thereof. Smh, it's one thing to struggle with cussing. But to purposely and unapologetically cuss as a Pastor (former) confessing Christianity is a shame. It's also sad because I know a few people who visited my church who talked about attending his church in Dallas and like you say Marcus they love going there because they 're accepting to hearing a word on Sunday and going back to their filth throughout the week.

It’s the enemy using his servants to make the body of Christ look filthy. This is why people mock God! However, God is powerful, so those who truly belong to Him will be His no matter who attempts to deceive!
There are no sectors of Christianity. To be a Christian is to be Christ like. When you look like the world, sound like the world and act like the world, you are not a Christian. We are to be a in this world, but not apart. The word of God tells us that we are set apart and if you resemble sin, then we need to do a self check with Jesus. Continue to preach truth! Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I totally agree. I am a Christian who was born again almost three years ago, just on my own. I heard God calling to me to read the Bible because I didn’t understand why some Christians acted this way and said they were followers of Christ when they were acting in ways that Jesus would not. I know now that Christians aren’t perfect, but come on.
I know I was born again; I felt it. But I started watching Ruslan videos the past couple of days ands now I’m questioning whether or not I’m a real Christian, or if I’m a Gnostic because I think it’s a special thing to be born again and know the truth. I know that so many people don’t-yet. It took me 39 years. Maybe everyone WILL be saved, but why do I have it now?? I know I’m not better than anyone else, but I do know that I have a priceless treasure inside of me that is very special. Is that Gnosticism?
I needed to hear this today, because I’ve been asking myself all day if I’m a real Christian because of some of the things Ruslan has said in his videos.
Side note: I have so much love for Ruslan…he is someone who wants to learn everything to learn about Christian doctrine, and I am too. I love studying and researching everything Christian, but I think when you start getting down the rabbit hole of trying to figure everything out while matter-of-factly claiming that you know things that are impossible for us to know for sure, but as a human being at the same time NOT able to know the ways of God, isn’t that kind of getting away from the basic doctrine tought in the book of Job?
I guess I’m just really confused here because some of his videos I really like, but some are leading me astray. The only thing right now that I can hang my hope on is that I had an experience when I came to realize that I was not worthy of salvation that I felt my heart change inside of me. I don’t know how else to describe it, but it was a supernatural feeling and I have never been the same. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t spend time with God.
I believe I have the gift of discernment, but this is really confusing me. I also believe that I was recently given the gift of prophecy, but Ruslan says the only true prophets are the ones of the Old Testament….but doesn’t Paul say we should pray for the gift of prophecy?? I do hear things when I am deeply in prayer and communion with God. I believe they are coming from the Holy Spirit, and I have seen many of them come to pass. These are not just about end times, but promises he makes to me about personal things that come true. I don’t think that prophecy doesn’t exist anymore, and I would love to have a gentle and kind debate with him about it.
As for cussing uncontrollably with no sign of conviction, I don’t understand how you can do that if you are truly born again. I know that God has mercy for us in abundance, but like you said, there is a change that happens in us that makes us not want to be that way anymore when we are born again; so I don’t understand that either. I immediately feel bad when a cuss word slips out, and I used to have really bad sailors mouth! So I don’t get that. It seems like an abuse of God’s grace.
Please keep building your relationship with Jesus Christ and stay in your word and the Lord will lead and guide you to all truth. Don’t rely on man only but put your trust and faith in Jesus. Be blessed and stay encouraged in the Faith! 🙏🏽
