  • Hello everyone!
In today's world, we try to fit so much into our lives, but we often forget the most important thing - simply living and noticing the world around us: going for walks, greeting the sunrise, watching the sunset, listening to the rustle of leaves and birdsong. We forget to observe life, to be simple spectators who take in the moments of existence. If you’re watching this video, it’s a sign that it’s time to put the rush aside, take a deep breath, slow down, and go for a walk. No, don’t take your headphones with you. Take yourself! Try to be an observer and notice how nature changes, how it lives. In doing so, something special and real is bound to awaken within you.

I have a dream to build a strong community of cheerful and conscious people around the world who are in love with this wonderful life, who are interested in self-development and conscious life.

I have been working on establishing 'micro' habits in my life lately. I do shiftwork, but most days I need to be at work for 8 am. I am now getting up at 5:45. I will move it to 5:30 after Christmas. I have been sitting quietly for a few minutes in the morning looking at my Christmas light, enjoying a warm morning drink and petting my dog. I have also added small 'chores'. Things that don't require a lot of time or energy. Mending. Tidying my desk. Small things that are often over looked. I want to get into the habit of walking my dog in the mornings, but...she doesn't enjoy our cold Canadian winters too much! lol She would rather lay in her basket in front of the heater!
I like your idea of adding reading/journaling. I love both, I just tend to do it in the evenings, however, the earlier I get up, the earlier I need to go to bed! I think I will have to switch my timing with those. I also have established that I won't have any electronics on for at least one hour after I get up and they go off by 8pm. I use an e-reader a lot, so I will have to get back into the habit of a physical book when I am home. And I like this idea. I will save the other one for when I am at work.
Enjoy your new habits, but don't be afraid to change them if needed to suit your life better.
    Have a great weekend.
