Sam From Sales is a comedy skit performed by John Hanson of the news/talk radio station WBAP out of Dallas. Sam reads from a journal found on the Titanic written by an unlucky ancestor.
I've never been a fan of "morning radio"....except for these guys. I grew up in the D/FW area and was a loyal listener to Hal Jay & Dick Siegel- both mornings & afternoons- going back to when WBAP was a country music station. Thanks for posting the memories.
moochie...i wouldnt be braggin about being a bill collector from New Orleans first of all...I am glad you like our hometown radio legends but we like to take our bill collectors out back and make sure you collect:-)
My Uncle Reid got me hooked on this bunch as soon as I moved to Ft Worth in 1990. These still make me laugh till I bust a rib!

Unfortunately, WBAP fired Sam to save money. Never been as good since.
My parents listen to this as i was young and all I herd was laughter. now they are gone and i still laugh my ass off
