What about the space downstairs
I love that lapis lazuli shade of blue for the backsplash tile.😍
It looks great, but I don't like the painted fireplace. I think a tiled fireplace would have looked better, but I suppose it is a cost saving measure.

I like where the tv stands, but the wall behind seems a little bit boring. would look also better if if was installed on the wall and turned into a sort art moment.

They have one small sofa and two not very comfy chairs... but an very very oversized chefs kitchen... what do you need a kitchen with a six burner stove, if there is no place for your friends to finedine and sit?!?
I cook in a much much smaller kitchen for up to 15 p 4-6 courses all made from scratch. Cooking good on a high level has not much to do with kitchen size.

@livezurichlovekarin7089: It’s your opinion you’re a good cook. The owners indicated their concerns and wants to Hillary and this was her result. They love it which is all that matters. (Apparently with a six burner stove, each family member gets their own burner!)
Hilary did a great job. I don't understand why the furniture needs to be changed.
If I ever designed a kitchen, I'd put the oven higher.

The living room looks very cheap...the rug, the sofa, the colours, the small size relative to the kitchen. Not a fan of this.
Colors in kitchen, living room are harsh.not soothing!
It's a major hike from the stove to the fridge and sink. This kitchen will be very hard to work in. Poorly designed for function.
