    I don't have to worry sticking a module on the back of Gemini , because using the external one means you swich off the internal module so you don't nedd the cooling fun in function as long as the internal transmitter is off

      You are not alone. If I was not in the ENTIRE RC Hobby, then I’d be lost. But due to what I do I have to stay on top of all technology for Drones, Planes, Helicopters, Cars, Boats. My brain is at capacity. My friends at my field are very lost when it comes to new technology but they are happy using old technology that they are well familiar with.

    Any “True Diversity” ExpressLRS receivers should support Gemini Mode, but you need to update the firmware to the latest version of elrs. You dont need a special gemini receiver for it to work.

      @trinol-kq3um I didn't even know about that receiver until now. It's on pre-order, but yeah, that will work perfect, also the rp3 should work just also. Man, I'm stoked for that new receiver now.

    I just ordered it, I wanted to take a flysky paladin pl18, but I really don't want to change something right away when buying a new thing. I think a jumper is enough for me

    Hi Steve, question How can I make stick on control not to be so sensitive, I just touch the throttle and it's to sensitive

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  8 місяців тому +1

      That is how it should be if you are flying an FPV drone or Helicopter (you barely move the sticks for those RC products). If you wish to make the sticks less sensitive for something like an RC Plane then you would adjust the EXPO and Dual Rates within the appropriate menu. There should be lots of UA-cam videos on how to do this.

    Can it binds with a phamton 3 standard, sir steve?
    My p3s just happened to an accident and broke the gimbal camera, and wont bind the remote controller any more, even though i watch a lot of vids how to reset and how to bind the drone.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798

      Only DJI products bind/work with DJI products. DJI prefers it that way so you buy ONLY from them.

      @@JC-tx1pdThe range is non specific as it depends on too many factors. Shooting out ELRS at one watt with error correction can go 35 miles easily, but then again range depends on the recipient receiver as well as line of sight and non-interference

    Great video! I'm curious about the ELRS Gemini products, but I don't know how much traction they will get with the bulk of ELRS users since single channel ELRS is already soooooooooooo good. Maybe if the cost of HW is about the same as "normal" modules people will adopt it "just because." That said, I could totally see the FPV freestyle and ultra-long-range guys jumping on this....but I'm not sure how much of the overall ELRS community they represent.
    It is cool tech, though.😎

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  11 місяців тому +1

      Since ELRS is FREE (open source) and costs so little to produce transmitters & receivers, my guess is it will probably take off big time in 2024. Now, if it costs twice as much to create a GEMINI RECEIVER, then I'd agree with you and not many will adopt it.

      @@CAPTAINDRONE798I've been using the 4-in-1 version of the Radiomaster TX-16S for years now since it could seamlessly work with my existing fleet, but I decided to pick up a cheap ELRS Tx expansion module just to try things out and was blown away.
      Now, I'm upgrading all my Flight Controller-equipped aircraft to ELRS and not looking back.
      I suspect you are right. If a Gemini Tx and/or Rx ends up being the same cost as a single channel module, switching over to Gemini might become a no brainer whether you need the additional link quality or not. It all comes down to the economics.
      Thanks for the reply! I'm a big fan and have been watching for years. 😎

      Have you ever setup a helicopter model in your radio? If not I highly suggest you watch UA-cam videos of setting up either an OMP helicopter or GOOSKY helicopter in a RADIOMASTER TX16S. Everything you see will apply to your helicopter.

    • @CAPTAINDRONE798
      @CAPTAINDRONE798  11 місяців тому +2

      It has wifi for ELRS firmware. As for Bluetooth… if it is standard for ELRS transmitters then it probably does (I’ve never used it so honestly don’t know). Trainer port… also another thing I never use so off the top of my head, not sure. It is identical to the super popular T-20s that I reviewed earlier this year. That review is very detailed and would point out many of your questions.
