Years ago, when you paid at the gate at Cherokee, they’d ask if you had a gun. If you said no, they’d issue you one! Ha! That place used to be THE place for dirt racing! Haven’t been there since they shortened it several years ago though!
Glowing headers usually point to valve timing I'm not an engine expert but that is something I've experienced cam degreed off a little something to think about
I 100% agree with what your saying as far as showing up. but I'm sure with the way dirt week ended with a bunch of destroyed equipment, and travel expense since fuel prices are thru the roof, and most off these teams have been non stop for the last month i.e. dirt week, eastern states, stss super showcase, I'm sure alot of teams want the extra day before the biggest/last show of the year. but what cherokee speedway did is great. keep up the good work love your channel and everything your do to help racing out
Dang wish I knew you guys were there, we run Cherokee several times a year, probably more in 22. Gaffney is a bit abrasive, usually with Late Models it tends to rubber up and become bottom dominant. What I wish is you guys seen it when it was a 1/2 mile, it was bad fast back then. Enjoy the world finals

Sounds like just as much confusion prior to the race.. as what I thought....I assume they made you guys a registration fee of $145 as well as what they made the sprints pay on top of their pit pass? That to me is absolutely crazy... Mandee, I'm curious what your opinion was on that?
I noticed that you may be getting a cold sore on your lip. MY Mom always got them at this time of year from apples, cider, tomatoes and other acidic foods. You might want to cut back on some of these foods even though the apples and late tomatoes are always so good. . . . . To get rid of a cold sore Mom would take a Phillips Milk of Magnesia anti-acid pill and hold it under the faucet to get it wet. Then she would rub some of the paste from the pill into the affected area. The cold sore would go away in a couple of days.
A Q-Tip dipped into nail polish remover and dabbed onto a fever sore works for me. Apparently the acetone prevents the virus from replicating. It burns a little but it is worth it.

I would not have put it past the World Racing Group to pull politics and to put the word out through the grapevine as to NOT support this show at Cherokee. Maybe the owners and drivers need to form their own organization like Tri State did in the early 70's to counter WRG's monopoly - they could then throw their support totally to Deyo and the STSS.
No Outlaw team could race the event, anyway. Had nothing to do with politics - That's how their rules are written long before this track did.... Seems like Cherokee was aiming towards other teams, not WRG teams.
The light thing sounds cool. Your right though, the blue light did look green. With that said, maybe the camera but the "green" lights around the track looked to have a blue tint to them ?! IDK Sad car count but good run. Guessing the money was green so...😁 Go get 'em in Charlotte guys. Hope motors ok. 🤞.
