Thanks for this video!! I measured a 3 Ohm so I'm going to try to replace the part. The IRG4BC30WPBF is hard to get by, do you think the IGP15N60T could be a good replacement?
Make sure the thin heat transfer sheet sits between the heat sink and the IGBT, the retaining clip needs to press the IGBT firmly to the heat sink. Also make sure there is no electrical connection between the heat sink and the IGBT. Check the motor, carbon brushes, check for short circuits on the commutator, between windings etc, measure current draw. If possible try a motor that is known to have no issues and make sure the reversing relays all operate as they should.
