- Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Stratford International on High Speed 1 where services are seen by Southeastern and Eurostar.
Stratford International was an interesting London station with quite a lot of interesting views that were quite unique compared to a lot of stations as there's tunnels and visible gradients at either end. The station also has a really interesting single track above the platforms which leads in and out of the Temple Mills depot for the Eurostar trains and we even saw a 373 go along it which you'll see. The passing trains will always be brilliant and the best on the railway network, they're simply amazing here. I enjoyed filming here for sure.

Nice one
Thanks!
The thing that doesn't make sense about Stratford International is it's an international station but Eurostar service don't stop there.
Awesome Video Bud :)
The thing that doesn’t make sense is the fact it’s called ‘Stratford international’ but it sees no international services :), great vid!
It’s labelled intl but u cannot make a direct Intl connection from Stratford intl
Indeed
Good video
Thanks!
next time you should do Stratford international doclands light railway
Kieran London Waterloo or Charing Cross would be two good options also St Pancras International you could give Fenchurch Street a bash as well
I shall look into them.
question of the video: the fact that there are bridges overhead for passing trains
Incorrect.
Right the major reason to why Stratford International is very odd is that Eurostar don't stop there, there was plans for it to stop there back in 2012 for the Olympics but it sadly didn't go to plan so platform's 1 and 4 don't get used and got hightend for a strange reason but yh this is why Stratford International is odd even tho its under the London International group not Southeastern
The Geekish Spotter UK LTD Productions Eurostar refuse to stop there as they already stop at Ebbsfleet and Ashford, and as of now they’re the only international operator. The planned DB ICE services to Frankfurt are supposedly going to stop there, but Brexit has put them in jeopardy.
Brill video i have a question though, why did we not see the 395s at tonbridge
Also i changed my account name and picture, i was kingcreeper
395s don't operate at Tonbridge bud.
Eurostar don't stop at Stratford international station apart from southeastern highspeed
The platform on the other side doesn’t get used but y
Ah, the one thing is that it’s called “international” but only SE services stop there. And no international services
Correct!
Is weekend it last one for the HST
Yes it is
KTV Videos I to see it
Not sure but I don't think the outer platforms have ever been used.
You'd be wrong, they have been used before.
DLR terminate here at Stratford international
The dlr Station is located outside the main line Station
logically the answer to your question should be the name, no eurostar's stop here
Correct!
Eurostar don’t serve the satiation
