I appreciate this. No one talks about the actual things we need to talk about.. I have a total reconstruction going. I'm not afraid of bringing it 100% up to code. I have a plan to build a larger home, but hopefully grandfather the existing basement.
This was very interesting. I was looking at older places on St Simons but if you exceed half the assessed price on renovations, it must be brought up to code, that could halt everything. It may explain why you have some real old home "buys" just sitting there without people snapping them up. Thanks for the explanation.
I totally agree with you. ALWAYS check with Building and Safety and your local officials. As a former Plan Checker, if people would consult early on a project they can save themselves lots of headaches 🤯 and money.
57 degrees on the thermostat????? Love the videos Doc! Live 30 miles south of ATL with a 2 year old Bermuda lawn that is coming along nice following your plans. Keep the tips(Home, Garden, and Turf) coming!
Not related to this video, but it's the most recent and hoping to get an answer. I have a WPX2700 I'm wondering if the Twinkle Star 15" pressure washer will work on the unit. Thank you
One good Hurricane will flush all that out from under the house so what’s the point. I’d of just left it and dealt with it when you rebuilt it all. In Galveston TX we get one every 20 to 15 years. The real stupid thing is you have a pool with drains, etc. and it’s fine as is? Whatsupwithdat? Doors are fine as it’s not your forever home. Just a personal preference and it’s your $$$.

I’m really excited for the 2022 lawn care videos

First thing I noticed was the nice clean look of the trim job on the beard. Looking sharp there Doc!

Looks great, thanks for the info!! Hey put that popping cork to work now!! Let’s go fishing!!
Hey doc can you explain how liquid lawn works. Do you add water or do you just put it into the sprayer and it mixes it self.

For pressure washing do you ever wash your house and do you use chemicals then
If this is an existing structure wouldn’t you be grandfathered in?
Hey thanks Doc enjoy your channel

Yeah, but pool drains aren’t considered sewage drains. Wish they saw it the same.
