@@alexandreenee1653 iirc, he splits the signal, sending one clean into DI and one out slightly overdriven. He uses an expression pedal to fade in and out the slightly dirty signal.

This is great because it's The John Butler TRIO. Not just a solo. Easy to forget, but they are a brilliant TRIO.
This man changed my life. His passion for music and his own style are parallel to none. How can anyone give this a "thumbs down" is beyond me.
This is amazing- I can't believe that he's playing and singing it at the same time. That's some crazy skill!

This cover is so great that it feels like a different song! Finally a cover that makes an overplayed song even better. Though most great songs are sadly overplayed and become bad due to being played so much
At the risk of sounding patronizing - Good music doesn’t become bad, your tastes change. And maybe a song doesn’t serve you anymore, but the song isn’t what changes.
