If you get Gerbings, get the non HD branded gear and save around 70 dollars on each piece. Having HD embroidered on a heated jacket doesnt make it any warmer.

It’s a coincidence but, I have the same year, & make & model & same color of your bike AND I just bought me & my wife the same jacket & it’s roughly similar degrees this evening outside here in Houston with 15-25 mile an hour winds, LOL! So, we just picked the jackets (on clearance shelf for $129) up at Cycle Gear & got home & got on UA-cam & wanted some real reviews & found yours, I will be installing it this weekend. They had the Hotwire Gloves too for $99 & I didn’t get them but I’m gonna get them soon. Thank you for sharing! You got my Subscription. What’s the kind of shoes you are wearing too? Thank you! Great taste in bikes 😂 I have actually ridden with the hotwired heated gear in 17 degree temps also. And it kept me alive 😂. I like that I don’t have to bundle up like an Eskimo and wear 20 layers of clothing to stay warm. The gloves are amazing and the pant liners are just as good. I wear Harley ringing shoes that are waterproof. The Harley shoes are a good price when you price them with other brands and they hold up great. I’ve been in the 17 degrees and 100 degrees and they are very comfortable in the high and low temps. I have three pairs of them now and really like them! Stevy, hey brother, did you use the wire(s) connectors that came inside the bag that came with your jacket or did you buy another “upgraded wire” set, to 10AWG vs 16AWG wires? The dude at Cycle Gear recommended the thicker gauge wire connectors that go to the battery..
I use the battery connector that came with it. I have the splitter also so I can have the pant liner and I have the heated gloves and I have never had a problem with the one that comes with it. If you are using just the jacket you can use the battery tender adapter but if you use the pant liner or the gloves with it you will blow the fuse.

are you able to plug it into the battery tender with an adapter?
Yes you can. If you only have the jacket liner. But if you have the gloves and the pant liners you’ll pop the fuse.
I’m getting my 1st bike this weekend. A GW 2019 trike so I got the jacket pants and I will get the heated insoles enjoyed the video.
