- Nick and Heath travel across the state line to find the two brothers that shot Jarrod in the midst of a robbery. What they find is a town full of people who think of the outlaws as saints because of all they do for the town. In the end the town finds out their true colors and they are brought to justice.
I have been wanting to see the Big Valley episodes for a while now and thanks to you i can watch them. Heath is my favorite character. Thanks!
Nicelooking,family.
What I've learned about the Barkleys so far: they never die from being shot and they are horribly unlucky in love!!
have you seen Bonanza?
🤣 LOL but of course Shawna Fleck! 😉 ...
*”THE CARTWRIGHT CURSE!”* 😱☠️ And as we all know: *The PAIN is REAL!!* 😢🥺
Yep, just like in Bonanza and most any other western series of the time.
I was about to say the same thing that in the Bonanza series all their girl friends or wives either die or leave ...one very tragic death is the young wife and unborn child of Little Jo . the three wives of Ben Cartwright.
That marshal must not have any brothers if he's telling Heath and Nick to forget about their brother being shot in the back.
USCTrojans94; Thank you for this series! I have subscribed and during these times of uncertainty, this show is perfect !
If I got shot or had my home invaded or my cattle rustled by bad guys as often as this family does, I'd move to the city and assume a new identity.
I agree. Succinctly put -- gave me a good laugh ! 😊
The professor on Gilligan's Island had a grandfather that was an outlaw in the old west.
Russell Johnson was also one helluva warrior in WWII himself.
Heath and audra always so sweet in their scene 😅😅...
I know they were half brother and sister, but sometimes the look like twins 😅
Off course😅
Correction: the Dunnigans……of Sunflower Nevada 💰
I love the big valley 🥰
Good thing there are no bacteria in California. Makes recovering from mortal wounds so much easier.
Television shows and movies are meant to allow us to suspend reality and enjoy getting immersed in the story. But it annoys me that in a series like this they assume the audience doesn’t remember what happened in previous episodes. For instance, “Eugene,” the youngest son of “Victoria Barkley,” was played by Charles Briles. He only appeared in eight episodes in the first season because he got drafted! He was written off the show with the story that he went off to Berkeley to study medicine. I don’t recall that he was ever mentioned again, certainly never in later seasons. “Victoria“ always referred to her family as three sons and one daughter. It was as if “Eugene” never existed. He could’ve at least been mentioned occasionally. He could even have come back from Berkeley is a full-fledged doctor played by another actor, because he was so young when last seen, a more mature actor could’ve been substituted. I think it would’ve been interesting to have both a lawyer and a doctor in the family show.
Gracias por haberlo notado creí que sólo yo y aunque el chico no era tan carismático estuvo en la serie y era parte de ella quizás pensarían que ya eran suficientes cuatro.
HA! I love this episode, mainly 'cause Jarrod gets shot! he he I'm evil...I love the episodes where they get hurt....hmmm...I need help.... Thank you so much for putting up all these episodes! They are perfect for nurturing my new Big Valley obsession! :) THANKS!! I love these!!
A gunshots not much more than the comman cold to the Barkley's
كانت تعرض في تلفزيون عراق عام 1979مازلت اتذكر al Barkley
Lovebigvalley
One thing about any member of the Cartwright or Barkley family member getting shot was, "It was only a crease", or you knew if the wound was in a really bad location, they would still manage to overcome in a jiffy.
At least at the end of this one Jarrod is still going back to bed.
A classic example of stand your ground by the dunnigans.
🤔 Hmph Ben Bourne?
Almost sounds like you admire them? 🤷♀️
Ben Bourne don’t be shy, what’s your point?
Yeah!! They get shot TONS, but never die! Nick even gets two bullets in one episode, but shortly after, he's just fine! And with the women thing...you are so right! All of their girls either die, are already married, are criminals, or something else bad!! Too bad....oh well...just adds to the angst!! :)
The Dunnigans.....of Sunflower, California......🐎
not one of the better episodes: Russell Johnson talks like a cartoon character
Can't the Dunnigans be extradited across state lines?
In those days u couldn't
Love this series *but* this is a plain stupid ep.
