The “buff” to demon surge ONLY reduces the damage it does, even in single target, even though the notes read as though it’s a buff. That’s why havoc is doing the same dps as augmentation right now, we got a 4% overall nerf with the bug
@doctorferdinand1003 I parse in the 80s in keys and get out damaged by a ret pally parsing 44-50. It's just unbelievable. And now looking at the ptr Evoker is getting nothing again. While other classes are getting more buffs.

Healer balance is a joke this tier & blizzard won't do anything to bring up all other healers ( aside from sham & disc). The bummer is that a lot of people only play two months into a 6 month tier. So, if Blizzard is neglectfully slow on balance & your class doesn't get fixed in that window... it's a wrap. Go play another class or game & better luck next tier.
This exactly. My Resto Druid I’ve gotten to the point I’m stuck waiting on Myth track vaults weekly (stupid gearing system this season) for upgrades. I tried running my Holy Priest and good lord the struggle bus is real. 19 year I’ve healed, I’ve been CE many times but this just feels horribly unbalanced. Meanwhile my RShaman is laughing his way to a high IO for a fraction of the effort and GCDs. Izen can’t be saying “it’s getting better” because ONE other healer is slightly competing against RShaman who has OVER HALF of key representation.

Which DPS has the best kicks right now? Or in general which DPS has the best utility? I want few options, but it seems kicks and utility is important. I'm SV hunter right now, and I top out every DPS mythic I've played (2k io) since 11.0.5(thank you!), but I still feel like my class sucks. I've seen DK's solo bosses for the last 15% of their health when our entire group has wiped; i'll still end the mythic with the highest DPS, but I can't carry.
Shaman has the best interrupt in the game. Its only 11 seconds so you end up doing 20+ interrupts per dungeon. Apart from that, each time Shaman interrupts a cast , they get damage reduction to spells from the same school. E.g If I interrupt a poison spell, I get damage reduction to poison spells for 10 secs.

The reason outlaw has high 95th percentile rio is because rogue community is quite small and all fotm rogues play sin - BUT there is a really sweaty hardcore community on outlaw rogues who refuse to play a boring/easy spec like sin. ALSO its not even completely throughput related like other top specs, but by the sheer tankyness of the class alone - you literally cannot die on that spec and dying is really bad right now.
Are outlaw and unholy seeming more popular because their counterparts already are and it gives them a higher chance? I’m not sure. This doesn’t happen for feral, affliction, devastation, it didn’t happen for arcane
As a healer this season is a joke. Hit 2700 within the first month or so but after 3 weeks of not getting groups because I’m not a resto shaman I’ve now unsubscribed Well done blizzard

Its undoubtedly Better to have hybrid classes being at the bottom than pure dps classes underperforming with all specs. So blizzard actually did a good job with the balance now
Awful take. If thats the case, then you need to take away the stupid defensiveness pure dps classes like mage and rogue have. A Mage/Rogue is 100x more tanky than a ele shaman that can heal itself.
What year is this when ppl think there’s still a hybrid tax? Many dps mains with off specs of a different role don’t usually play those specs. They want the dps spec. Classes are not homogenized like they were before. Specs have developed over time to warrant good tuning and design no matter if they have a tank or healer off spec.

Teams were using havoc DH in the MDI last weekend. Unless you are in the top 0.5% of players meta doesn't matter at all.

Keys aren't carryable. It's a 5-man game mode.

Bad take. A dps spec is a dps spec. Hybrid class has nothing to do with it.
Bad take. The ability to tank or heal gives flexibility which means your absolute damage shouldn’t outpace pure dps classes who don’t have that choice
