Just when I thought that guy's music couldn't get anymore intimidating.
@@MrNeedleMousebro this is like if a fking warlord was coming straight for your head, the fault is on the game being infamously childish with serious themes.
But all infinite themes are killers.
Friends are nothing but a fleeting illusion, you can count on nobody but yourself.
You’re sad and alone and your mask cannot hide it.
The reality of that phantom ruby of yours is the real illusion
(Sorry if it’s not their lines but I played the game in Italian and I don’t know the lines)
The best Infinite boss theme I EVER heard. And FINALLY, the ultimate challenge. This theme is epic, outstanding, dark and gives the battle much epic and dynamic. Too bad Infinite is not the final boss. It was my dream and wish in this game.
It would have been cool if the Infinite final boss fight had 2 phases, with this playing in the first phase and Fist Bump in the second.
Most people hate when something is rehashed, but I for one would love Sonic Forces to be completely remade with different gameplay and story, with the same soundtrack.
Music like this deserves what the writers obviously had no intention of providing.
The writing being so bad isn't surprising. The story was written by the same people that wrote Sonic Colors and Sonic Lost World
It's a bit of a shame this was basically a recycled fight vs Metal Sonic, but as the sonic levels continue into the story, you get the sensation that the developers were facing crunch time and so things had to be shortened and re-used.
Legion Beast Yeah. It’s pretty sad that it’s that noticeable. The further you get into the game, the worse it gets.
@@maxrichards3881 That's what I was thinking, what if it's just that Metal Sonic copied off of Infinite? Y'know, being a robot and all.
@@sweetoil2952 It's developing wise true, too - Infinite was originally the boss who had that battle, but because of some development rush, they reused this battle in Metal Sonic's battle
@Casswury The last "real" stage with any heart in it is the Rookie's final stage where they climb the tower. Using the electric whispon is my personal favorite "canon" way to do that mission.
2:28 "So look around you and tell me what you really see. I never end and that's the difference in you and me. 'Cause when your time is up and everything is falling down. It's only me and you; who is gonna save you now?" I'm not completely sure, but maybe Infinite would've killed Sonic if the Rookie didn't step in. Doesn't make much sense, but...
@@blaizefire4903 Thanks for the reply!! 😄
Also, when I said it doesn’t really make sense, I meant that I don’t understand how the Rookie has that much power. Then again, when I think about it, I might understand more.
@@blaizefire4903 Yes! I do wish we were shown the opposition in the trailer we got, but maybe it’s too soon for that. I just hope they don’t mess it up somehow :< I mean, I don’t think I’d mind, seeing that Sonic 06 is one of my favorite games and I enjoyed Forces, but if people think the game isn’t great, I feel like that’ll be one of the last straws 😔
@@sweetoil2952 yeah sonic 06 is my favorite game and I enjoyed forces but the issue is how are the fans gonna react to this game I swear ign will probably shit on the game
I was promsied an orchestra of infinite's theme for the final battle
Close enough
I think
"Your mask can't hide how sad and lonely you are!"
I swear to God I feel like choking Sonic to death whenever I hear him say that!
I learned these helpful tips.
1. Use the drill wisp and drill into him when he is standing there and not doing anything.
2. You can drill into him while he does his drill attack if you avoid the blast he sends out.
That's the only way you're going to beat stage 27 in 135 seconds.
Oh shoot I just noticed the beginning is a slower version of Infinite’s theme
This my favourite song in sonic
This game isn’t the best but the music kicks ass
"You may call me, *infant* "
I have ptsd from this boss
I am bloody hooked on this thing
It's so many levels of great and I don't even associate it with "Infinite" at all really
Like, what's the logical conclusion from the first two tracks? An even more intense banger? Nope, it's this. Rewatched the fight after getting hooked and...it sucked. Like it was a tech demo and someone decided to play this over it because they had to publish it soon. It's almost as if they had this lying around and just decided to shove it into Infinite's battle because honestly, the first time I heard it, it sounded so irrelevant and dare-I-say generic that I just didn't really appreciate it.
I hope to make music of this calibre at some point in the future
EDIT: found ONE leitmotif, it's the bassline in the first half which is the guitar thing you can hear in the first two
With all the music, the tension and plot Infinite bring.
His final fight is... Dissapointing.
Not even the final boss, and down pretty easily.
I think that's the first time Sonic doesn't even need his super form to resolve the plot of a main game ?
Every boss level has attained the S rank on hard difficulty above 2.3 million points! Infinite is truly defeated, episode shadow 100% completed. It's over Eggman.
for some reason i feel like this soundtrack is inspired by the main theme of spider-man 1 and 2 ,but with a touch of Brazilian rhythm
Infinite vs.
1.) Lilac, Carol and Milla (from Freedom Planet)
2.) Spark the Electric Jester
3.) Mighty No. 9 "Beck"
4.) Shovel Knight
5.) Azure Striker Gunvolt
6.) Shantae
@@Winterrose782 Now I wish Tails and Knuckles were more involved in this game and replaced the Avatar and Classic Sonic.
*The ost would play Kieran when he has Miraidon on the team, to defeat the player.*
I could imagine this for a boss in Terraria... maby a Sonic cross-over in Terraria-Other Worlds?
666 Likes by me...Damned
Sounds like it came out of a horror movie
Post infinite's theme please (full)
Ripped from PC version's audio files?

Infinite's Edginess OVER 9000!!!!!!!
5:10 till 5:26 is the only good part of the soundtrack. Too bad it's at the end -_-
Drill wispon pt 2
1:00 best part
Infinite: “What would you like your epitaph to read? How about: here lies the blue buffoon?”
Dominic The Wolf or here doses The Mask clown
What about, here dozes the masked clown, might also make it for the one who needs it right?
Right R.I.P. infinite: he died as he lived.
