Hello, I'm not sure if this will help. I separated from my husband 3 years ago, and like you, I'm the only one who is taking the load of my kids in all aspects, including financially. Unlike you, I have a full-time job, and luckily, I work from home after covid. I started reselling right after covid to help my daughter with university expenses. I have 3 kis at home, and my daughter is currently going to university up north. I list 5 items every day because I have focused on getting quality items only, and I do not have the time or space for more. So, with this being said, I completely understand how you feel and what you are going through. It is important for you to shift your mind to positive things when negative thoughts come to mind and know you will be OK. Take step by step on your agenda for the day so you do not feel overwhelmed. Step by step. Plan your day and stick to it as much as you can. Financially, having to take the full load, it must be stressful due beacuse sales are up and down. Will virtual assistant may be something to purse to help after you do 15 yourself? Not sure maybe u should look into it. I just hope things settle down for you and know that on this side of the screen we are cheering for you. May God bless you.

So many on UA-cam try and make everything perfect and it leaves the viewer wondering what we are doing wrong that our lives don't look like theirs. That's why everyone loves you. We can relate because you are real. Things have to get better. Keep your head up. The fees yes are on taxes and shipping. I had my best month so far on poshmark last month. For reference I had made $1000. In the first week. This month still not there. It's been crickets. I hope they change something because this is not working. Depop out did posh this weekend. Sad and angry are the same thing only angry has some energy behind it that can transform into determination. Inventory so this quits happening and then when they quit the punishment you can give ebay a good spanking. This business works for sure. You're gonna make it big!

Oh honey girl, you have got to get some YOU time in. As a mama of 5 I know it is imperative to take YOU time. My mom always says that you cannot pour from an empty cup, and it really is so true. As nice as it would be to go to a spa or ger your hair done, that is not always an option for a lot of us, so take time where you can find it. Take a hot cup of coffee outside, go for a walk, sit in your car and listen to some music and chill for a bit, switch up your workspace and sit at a Starbucks for an hour or two. Sometimes a simple change of scenery is everything! I am working on a little care package for you, you have taught me so much just being a part time reseller and even though I am sad that you're cutting back on your videos, I am so glad you are taking care of YOU! I have only been doing this for one year this month, but I was thinking October November December would be my best months and they certainly have not been. Poshmark died for me when they went through their fee change glad they changed it back, but I think it’s just honestly the economy and the inflation so many people right now are struggling that they just don’t have the money to purchase any extras!!!! We all enjoy your videos, but definitely take a break and put yourself in your children first❤️🙏

Yes Poshmark adds in the sales tax to the percentage sellers have to pay. Many sellers have pointed out that isn't cool as we as sellers do not get any of the sales tax, so why is it figured into the percent we have to pay.
I can tell this is a stressful time for you, and I know this would be hard, but I'd recommend doing 2 weeks without coffee to see if you're handling stress better. I know how it is when it seems like coffee really helps you get by, but honestly, it really affects the nervous system. I'm a bit more sensitive, so I try to stay away from coffee.. but I've noticed that when I have it for at least 4 days in a row, I'm more agitated emotionally. It won't solve your problems, but may help in the way you feel and handle your stress. Hope your sales increase soon! I think the political atmosphere and recent hurricanes haven't helped much!
Honestly have been contemplating this....but also I LOVE coffee so much 😭 maybe switching to decaf so I still have the flavor and "funness" of making my drinks

You mentioned the shipping label had a filled in "G". One is for commercial addresses and one is for residential addresses I don't remember which for which. Both can come from eBay, it depends on the recipient's address
Hi Ash. I feel your frustration. I have been a part time reseller on all the platforms and just last week, my Depop was banned :( It was my number 1 platform and now I feel so lost. Luckily, I have a regular full time job and resell as a supplement to my income. But if I relied solely on reselling as income I would be absolutely stressed out with losing my top selling platform. My sales have been super slow too. There are probably a lot of factors at work. I've wondered about seasonality. Here in Colorado, we are having our hottest October yet. People probably don't want summer clothing anymore, but winter clothing isn't needed yet either! Just one little tidbit of info.

I just wanted to bring up that the past month I was using posh sidekick and I watched a video of resale brothers talking about auto posher. I decided to give it try so I canceled my other service and signed up with auto posher. They have a feature where they relist ebay and depop listings everyday. I can honestly say I seen a huge up in sales on all platforms. Honestly I'm super glad I switched. Not sure what service you use but auto is where it's at definitely. My store is about 1400 listings and I'm selling atleast 13 a day my goal is 15 to 20. Honestly I have most bread and butter brands in my closet. Just dropping it out there for info for ya.
@restyledbyash I will say poshmark has been better for for me than ebay. My husband keeps saying sales will get way better after this election. I'm praying so I really like to hit that 15 a day goal. I wish you luck though I enjoy your channel. 😊

Love your content! I do know that you’re in the resellers edge group and I am too. I have learned so much from that group. Do you promote on eBay at all? I do follow Cayley’s promote strategy and have found that it makes a world of difference. And yes, unfortunately, it resulted in much higher fees, but many, many more sales. But, I did notice a very significant effect on my sales when I went from 2 to 3% to 7 or 8%. I think promoting on eBay has just changed the game and unfortunately, those who promote at higher rates do get more sales.
Ebay has been SUCKING!!!! They switched up searches again and messed up offers all weekend. Posh is doing better than ebay for weeks now! The economy is great, but still too costly for basics for folks like us (though it is a LOT better in my state). Plus, purchasing has slooooowed with this very strained election so close. Depending on who wins, I will either spend on some new vintage pieces for myself or cry and save every penny! Good luck Ash!!!!!! I am on the slow struggle bus, too...and we will survive!

I just wanted to bring up that the past month I was using posh sidekick and I watched a video of resale brothers talking about auto posher. I decided to give it try so I canceled my other service and signed up with auto posher. They have a feature where they relist ebay and depop listings everyday. I can honestly say I seen a huge up in sales on all platforms. Honestly I'm super glad I switched. Not sure what service you use but auto is where it's at definitely. My store is about 1400 listings and I'm selling atleast 13 a day my goal is 15 to 20. Honestly I have most bread and butter brands in my closet. Just dropping it out there for info for ya.
How many items do you delist/relist? I do currently delist/relist on all my platforms every day 😅

You don’t need to make a business account on usps. You can just make an account. It’s how I got all my priority supplies for poshmark

@@restyledbyash oh! Then never mind 😆 But I was thinking, after I move and start reselling again, with the Poshmark set up, making bundles. I know I have some items I can bundle myself. Then do a bundle offer of 20% off of any bundle of 3 or more items. Better than doing major discounts!
Love your content! I do know that you’re in the resellers edge group and I am too. I have learned so much from that group. Do you promote on eBay at all? I do follow Cayley’s promote strategy and have found that it makes a world of difference. And yes, unfortunately, it resulted in much higher fees, but many, many more sales. Unfortunately, that just seems to be the way that eBay is today. I wish you luck and will be praying for you. Keep showing up as yourself and we will keep watching! 🙏🏼💜
I do promote listens of ebay, but I do not follow her strategy..I promote usually the lowest like 2%. I will have to relook what what she does and experiment! Thanks so much for that And thanks for watching 💜
@@restyledbyash I definitely don’t go as high as she does. I think she goes with the recommended amount with a max of like 13 or 14%. But, I did notice a very significant effect on my sales when I went from 2 to 3% to 7 or 8%. I think promoting on eBay has just changed the game and unfortunately, those who promote at higher rates do get more sales.

Ebay has been SUCKING!!!! They switched up searches again and messed up offers all weekend. Posh is doing better than ebay for weeks now! The economy is great, but still too costly for basics for folks like us (though it is a LOT better in my state). Plus, purchasing has slooooowed with this very strained election so close. Depending on who wins, I will either spend on some new vintage pieces for myself or cry and save every penny! Good luck Ash!!!!!! I am on the slow struggle bus, too...and we will survive!

eBay has died for me. I can list 10 a day and still, lucky to get 1-2 sales. It’s beyond frustrating and more so for you being the only income in your household. 😢
