As someone who’s trying hoop en pointe I can attest that’s a lot easier said than done. Circus technique is different and very rarely involves a turn out. I lose a lot of ballet technique when my body starts relying on muscle memory the moment I touch a hoop. Obviously it can be done and she’s not doing it perfectly, but I doubt that she just doesn’t know pointe
Lots of mistakes in this performance: not a classical dancer or an arial hoop professional. Good for her level (amateur). Respect for the effort and the hard work.
You have a way of looking fragile even when you're engaging so many muscles and holding these incredible positions and making it look effortless
