I had the same problem with my Leonardo, so I put a little piece of paper towel inside of the blind cap. Just a little bit tucked down into the bottom of the cap. Not the mostly elegant solution but it works.

You mentioned in your video that sometimes getting the piston pens fully cleaned is difficult. Both your Magico and your Pelikan have nibs that unscrew. You could just unscrew the nibs and use the syringe to clean out the barrel. I hope that helps. Also, if you wanted to swap your Magico from a Fine nib, you can get either another generic Jowo or you could get a Leonardo branded nib separately from Pen Realm or Goldspot and then you can just swap the nib.

Glad to see someone appreciates the Furore as much as I do. It's a shame Leonardo has kind of left them by the wayside and focuses more on the momento zero. The Furore reminds me a lot of a vintage Sheaffer balance but with a modern converter. Also glad you are enjoying your M400. I think you'd like an M600 or an M800 even more though. The bigger barrel and grip would probably feel better on your hand and wrist. J. Herbin is quickly becoming a favorite ink company for me. Vert Empire is this vintage looking greyish green color and it's my favorite green. Lie De The is my favorite brown.
