Yep! Just put the signal from a separate throttle to adc2, during throttle setup you will see “control type” you can set this to current, adc2 brake no reverse
hi, I did as you said and everything works except the brake, I replaced the 2-wire brake contactor with a 3-wire one, I connected the + accelerator and + brake to 3.3v, then the - accelerator and - brake on Gnd, and the accelerator signal on adc1 and the brake signal on adc2. the accelerator works however when I brake with the brake handle the master controller turns off and when I release the brake the master controller comes back on why? (the controllers can be slave when it remains on. everything is connected to the master controller)
If you remove your tensioner and tighten the chain solely by removing links, that will make sure you don't have too much slack on the front side when the cart is slowing down. The way you properly do this is to remove enough links so that the chain is slightly too tight once it's all back together. Then you take some washers and shim them between the motor mount and the fork on only ONE of the narrow sides of the fork. Shim it enough so the chain is slightly too loose, and then you can tighten the non-shimmed side to adjust the tension properly. Use locking nuts to keep things from moving. Hope that helps!
Good info. Vesc baby!!
This is an excellent video; answered my exact problem concisely. Thanks!
Thanks you very much, this helped alot. I'd been searching in the wrong place. 😅
hey can you please tell me how to set it by any external MCU command
Can I ask what speed controller you opt for ?
Can you set it up to engage with a different pedal instead of just by easing up off the throttle?

What speed controller you are using for VESC?
The vesc is a speed controller

Make sure you don’t have throttle kill switch mode activated! Also try turning down the brake max amps and see if you get a change
@@chargedup6565 I had to increase the input voltage to 95v and update the firmware to high-voltage HV and it works
How do I keep the chain from falling off during breaking
