One of the main motivations for 'modern'' fashion in the late 50's and early 60's was the fact that young people had a lot of disposable income... for fashion, for music etc and we didn't want the 'old 'stuff' from the post war years of rationing and mind set.

She is 93 now. And if you are looking for a doctor. I can suggest Dr Sherman in NYC. She didn't have a facelift or any surgery that she was put under. A very painful dermabrasion to remove sun damage and the tinyiest bit of filler done over several sessions. Not Botox. Just silicone filler. The thing about filler is less is more. You need to let the filler bond with your subderma. Cause if you do too much at one time , it can shift. Only 1/4 of a vile. Yes it's wasteful but it's the best way to get the result you want. And look natural. Google him. If you're serious. He is very expensive. But please don't trust me. Do your research .and make sure you are happy . If the price seems too good to be true..... Funny she talks about what she can afford; she must be worth millions, no? Gorgeous woman. I'd even watch the news if was her.
She lost all her life savings twice in her life due to bad investments unfortunately.
She lost all her money due to Bernie Madoff's stealing it and another large theft. It's sickening how hard she worked for all of it.
