    I met Beezie over 30 year's ago at the Bloomfield Hunt Club in Michigan. She was up and coming on the jumper circuit, showing a ton of promise. I was probably 8 years old. She was riding my Aunt's bosses horse's in the show, so we had access. I was in awe of her. When I started lessons, I wanted to be just like Beezie. I wound up as an eventer, rather than a show jumper, but I'll never forget the one who made me want to fly.💓😊

    Love the lesson from Beezie. There is so much information in here. John, great camera work.
    Stay safe everyone. The more we all stay in now, the faster it will be over.

    Beezie was my hero growing up. I watched her every year I could at the Syracuse Sporthorse Invitational, when it was still a show. It truly inspired me. Unfortunately I've not had many opportunities to connect to coaches and horses like these lucky young women, so I'll live vicariously through youtube until I have the opportunity (lack of pandemic) to get back out there and work for it!
    Stay safe all, and thank you for these videos.

    Thank you so much Beezie and John for posting such fantastic video lessons. No one could give better. I have al amyloidosis and am in the hospital. You do t know how much I would .like to practise this with my horse. If only I could ride one more time. Have had to re home my horses and dog. These lessons are almost the real ride for me. I can feel the motion of the horse when I watch. I am from Surrey, British Columbia. Keep up the good work! You both are fantastic!

    Can't wait for more of these! I had a lesson today and while warming up I tried to remember what Beezie taught in this lesson and applied it to the best of my ability. It turned out to be an amazing lesson and I am so excited to keep practicing. I can't wait for more videos!

    The closest I will come to having a lesson with her. Thanks for posting. As an aside in my next life I would love Kathryn’s (Catherine). Beautiful posture. My spine has a slight curve so I always looked slightly slouched.

    Always a Great Smile Beezie. Thank you both for thinking to do this video. As a kid, I was on the rails amazed by the 'Red Rider' (RJ & IdleDice) and later following Beezie's beautiful lines. Now as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor videos (as such) help support words and make for happier horses & riders. See you at Devon. Be well, keep well everyone.

    Can I please ask for the spacing of the cavalettis?
    First the cavalettis that are done in a straight line, and also the spacing from each other for the cavalettis ridden on the serpentine? Would love to do this exercise at home!

    How long to you walk your horses in the walker we are looking into getting one that would be covered to relive people from hand walking up and down the barn aisle. We don’t have an indoor and in indiana it rains a lot.is a walker the best option?

  • @dani-eh3tf
    @dani-eh3tf 4 роки тому

    At my barn, only leasers/owners are allowed, and personal training lessons/paying customers. I haven’t seen a lesson with more than 2 people, although people who aren’t supposed to be there still come 😔

    Watching these beautiful horses go by reminds me how lucky some people are. The only horses I got came off the track, no money for lessons, self taught through books and videos. These days I see horses entirely different. I don’t believe in jumping a horse over six foot fences humane, nor do I believe what they do in dressage any better and racing that’s an old barbaric sport that needs to end. Putting the horse’s life at stake for money is something I don’t believe in. If you truly love horses how can you risk them for money.

      Fortunately for all of us, there is a place in this sport for all riders, regardless of if they are beginners or grand prix riders. While we won't comment on the specific backgrounds or financial situation of each rider or training level of each horse in this video, we will say it serves us all to assume the best of others rather than to spread negativity.
