I had never heard this! But it just sounds like another diet culture trend. I love these videos because you're always so honest and real! Sending big hugs to you! 🤗👍👍
Now I've reduced my seed oils & increased animal fat I feel so much better. After 5 years of feeling tired & being highly tree pollen affected, this year have made a comeback cycling long distances. The only thing I have done different is reducing my seed oil consumption & now cooking with beef dripping. I don't know the long term risk to my health, but I feel 10 years younger & with more energy. Seed oils were killing me slowly.
I'm vegan but have been adding cacao butter to my diet the past week for its high stearic acid content. I'm obsessed with stearic acid right now. It does seem to be really beneficial while PUFAs might indeed have issues.
I wonder which influencer we're looking at here 😂.I'm guessing the inflammatory response comes from when these products containing PUFAs like canola and sunflower are heated/fried like crisps which causes the fats to switch to the trans form which has been shown to be inflammatory .However , seed oils themselves at room temp are fine .Just a hunch and a guess but overall these influencers are just making blanket statements and neglecting the nuances of the issues
