I'm 99% sure that when The Radiators did this live on Countdown the lead singer was wearing a helmet with a dodgy mike gaffer taped to it hanging in front of his mouth. I was only 11 at the time but the memory is very clear. Can anyone confirm or deny this? People who weren't in Australia at this time will never know how good we had it musically.
Sept 12 2015 Ettalong Diggers Can't Wait,Rads at a great venue to see bands.Saw Mental as Anything there around this time last year was best gig & venue i've been to to watch a band since late 1980's, Reminded me of Parramatta Leagues,Selina's at Coogee Bay,Family at Ermington,Castle Hill RSL etc Ettalong Diggers is a little smaller venue than those but was packed & had just Awesome Atmosphere.Reminded me of pubs,clubs of the 80's #GreatMemories Can't believe how lucky us 80's generation were.Feel for Kids these days,They Don't know how good it was/is to watch a band play there own songs live

Lost classic Aussie rock. Huge in Sydney but never really broke Melbourne! I remember Donnie Sutherland playing this on Sound Unlimited.
