This was great! Thanks Molly! Would be fantastic if you could leave a link to each book in the description as I am definately going to add some of these to my wishlist for my next reads! Would love it if you could review some more, there is such a massive choice of adoption books out there and it was lovely to get an u understanding of each one from your reviews! X
Hi! I’m just wondering how much the social worker wants you to know about therapeutic parenting and attachment for the pre assessment interview, I have done lots of reading online and know the general gist of most topics! Just wondering if I need to know more! Thanks x
We’ve come across a question about our learning in our stage one workbook. I’m not sure how to approach this question as we have done a learning log separately. Any advice would be much appreciated. I’m not sure whether to photocopy what we’ve done so far or something different as we are still adding to our learning log.
Hi Katie! I didn’t actually have a stage one workbook so can’t properly advise you I’m afraid. I would ask the question to your adoption social worker and it may be that you can signpost to your separate learning log 😄
If I'm going to be using the lending library and have to send back the books, are there any of the list in the video to buy instead, as to have a reference point to keep going back to in the future?
@@MollyMamaAdopt sorry I must have worded it wrong, is it better to buy them (or any in particular) so you have a reference for future, or is one read enough of each book so better to rent? Thanks
@@glitterb4121 ah sorry! It completely depends. What I ended up doing was bought the few that I knew I reference in future. At the same time I’m glad I borrowed some and hadn’t bought them ☺️

Hey! I don’t think there’s any expectation for you to know anything at pre registration as all training is undertaken later on ☺️

@@MollyMamaAdopt thank you, I’ll ask her tomorrow as she is coming to do a home safety visit (something else I’m panicking about).
