I mean murder is murder, but the story we're being told is not true. The cop was not there at 9 O'clock at night looking at houses. That is 100% not true. If you believe that you're what's known as gullible. The DA might not want to trump up the charges because this more than likely wasn't a random killing, it was likely a drug deal gone bad. Thank the Lord that Villanueva took control of this IMMEDIATELY. It's an absolute miracle that my father made it to retirement after 35 years with the LASD, and I'm grateful every day that he did. My heart breaks for this family.

As tragic as this incident is, thankfully it fell into the Sheriff's jurisdiction and not LAPD. The Chief has not spoken out against Gascon's destructive policies and the Chief is merely Garcetti's political puppet. Crime keeps getting worse in L.A. because of them.
