Great informative channel, do you perhaps know how many actuators are on the front AC. I need to find the reason why my recycle button is not working. It seems that the air from outside is pushed into the blower and that heat from outside is causing my AC not to work properly. I know about the 1 you showed and also 1 behind the radio that allows cold and heater to blend. Is there somewhere I can find a ford manual without paying a houses price. Thanks

There are three. There is one more that is under the dashboard next to the heat duct on the passenger side. That one went on this truck, and it was a real pain to swap out. Steve and I had to pull the console out to gain access to is under the dash.

What if you fix it and it’s changing and you hear clicking still

It shouldn't be clicking. Check to see if there is another actuator that is making the noise. If the new one is noisy I would return it.
