Great performance by Ognjenović. The fact that Maja first played in the European championship 18 years ago, and was already the best setter of the tournament in 2007, and still remains such a powerhouse, is truly remarkable. A genuine legend of this sport. Bravo Maja!

You do not want to be on the other side of the court when Boskovic is angry because she will hit the life out of that ball. Serbia had a slow start, but they improved from the second set and continued to dominate the match after that. There were not many fans in the venue, but Guidetti was Serbia's biggest fan. Love their teamwork. Congrats to Serbia!

Boskovic always gives her best performance when playing with the national team. Serbia just booked their ticket to the final, their tournament from here should be easy, unless we'll see upsets (I highly doubt it). I think Turkey will be the other finalist, Vargas is unstoppable...

Ne znam zasto se ovde prepiremo,koja je reprezetacija bolja,pogotovo to vazi za Turske navijace,koji su u transu od kada im je Vargas u ekipi,i od kada su osvojili VNL.Treba uzivati u ovakvim utakmicama,pogotovo mi odbojkaski fanovi..Definitivno po rezultatima u poslednjoj dekadi tri ekipe su najvise pokazale,a to su SAD,Srbija i Italija..Turska i Poljska su se digle,dok je tu jedino nesto slabiji Brazil ali opet moze dobiti svaku ekipu..Zaista sjajan mec,i svaka od ovih ekipa ima po jednog vrhunskog korektors,Poljska Magdalenu Itslija Egonu,Srbija Boskovic,Turska Vargasovu itd i pricati da je neka ekipa slaba ili da nije nista bez gore navedenih je cista i notorna glupost..Zasto onda Svedska sa Isabelom Hak ne napravi nesto..Znaci,ne mogu da razumem odbojkaske fanove koji tvrde ovako nesto..S druge strane,pricati o tome da je Vargas bolja od Tijane,ne da je glupost,nego cisto lupetanje..Da bi bila blizu Tijane,mora imati bar nekoliko medalja sa velikih takmicenja,da odlucuje vazne poene u finalima velikih takmicenja kao sto su svetsko i evropsko prvenstvo ili OI..Neosporan je Vsrgasov talenat,ali reci da je bolja od Boskovic,pa csk i Egonu je van pameti i to bar za sada..Srbija je inace jedina ekipa koja u zadnjih deset godina na svim ovim velikim takmicenjima dolazi sa po nekom medaljom,i mozda nece biti prvak,ali je pokazala i dokazala da je najbolja ekipa sa najvise odlicja u poslednjoj dekadi..Pozdrav za sve ljubitelje odbojke...

It looks like, after this win Serbia will have an easy route to another final. Once again, against the Turks. Turkiye on the other hand has a difficult path to get there. Belgium ( home team ) , Poland in quarter and Italy in semis. I still fancy Türkiye this year, as the Vargas difference will probably show itself.
In my opinion Poland is the second best team in Europe right now , but they just had a bad day with this game and winner of quarter final Poland - Türkiye, should win it all.

Yes but there is a chance that Türkiye loses to Germany because Santarelli loves to rotate players during group stages to keep them fresh for the finals and our players usually underperform at this stage because of this rotation. If we lose to Germany then we play against Serbia in the quarterfinals and the winner most likely plays against Italy in the finals. If we beat Germany then we play against Poland in the quarterfinals, Italy in the semis and Serbia in the finals. Therefore losing against Germany might actually turn out to be beneficial because we would have to play against 2 top seeded teams instead of 3 to become champions.
It has nothing to do with luck but hard work and great team.
