I went here on holiday with friends 20 years ago. To be honest I would never go back to this part of Mallorca ever again. Very brave of you to walk down there at night. I was in Mallorca last week and had lovely time. Stayed at the Jumeirah Port Soller. Amazing hotel and location. Will definitely return.

Hi Alex I was in Mallorca last year and enjoyed….. was going to go somewhere else but thought I would come back. Had a car so got about a bit went to Valdemossa which was very pretty. Went to Formentor beach a few times to swim relax….. also Pollenca. I thought Porto Andrax was very beautiful especially the views from the promenade restaurants. Reminded me of Italy with all the property nestled in the hills / mountains overlooking the Marina. Very beautiful. Porto Portals was nice to visit and walk around also. All in all it was a very nice holiday. Jumeriah hotel in Soller was amazing as was the food there plus amazing panoramic views from the hotel. Finished the holiday with a few days in Palma before coming back home to rain yesterday !

Been going there since my first ever holiday abroad back in 1986, still go every year but its first week in October these days for a few nights.
Got great memories of the place and lots of photos.
Back in the 80s manos was always rammed a great place but sadly died a death however last summer we went and it was packed again although catering for young spanish now so i didn't know any of the tunes lol but a great atmosphere.

Was there in 1987 as an 18 year old! Alexandra's nightclub was the place to be. I seem to remember that the strip was full of Swedes (not the root vegetable) 😂 Here via the Macmaster btw 👍

I had security! (in all seriousness, it wasn't threatening or scary - the atmosphere was fine and lots of people of various ages as you could see!
Went there the other week for an over night stay, as I couldn’t get a direct flight, no problems at all and I had a drink in nearly every bar after midnight, people just keeping themselves to themselves and having a good time, and yes various ages so didn’t feel out of place being in my 30s.
11:30 in Alcudia & everywhere is ready to close, massive contrast.
Different demographic of people going I think !

No not in the actual strip, that's geared up for the club type scene but at the bottom around the corner sort of thing there are plenty close by such as Sinkys Scottish bar , Benny Hills and many more , I thought to answer you incase Alex hasn't seen this .
Went there 10/15 years ago. Not for me now, but I did like Leo's Bar even then. Going to Port d'Alcudia end of September. Need a nice quiet bar (with music) like Leo's to eat and drink there. Any suggestions?

Looks horrific like many UK towns on Saturday night. This just reinforces the common misconception of Majorca being like this everywhere when your traditional viewers know that there are plenty of beautiful and appealing parts to Majorca.
I wouldn’t say it’s horrific - The Strip is one street! Lots to enjoy in Magaluf

@@philhutchinson3636 I agree , in 1995 we used to leave the strip when it got crowded around midnight as we had the daughters with us, a few years later we went ourselves and in the early hours,there was treble or more people on the strip as what is seen here 👍
