    Brings me back to a girl I knew nearly a decade ago…such a beautiful woman/such a sad story. Think about her more often than I should when this song comes on. Fuck what would I give to turn back the hands of time to see that face again.

      It was very competitive since there were so many rock bands. Plus people used to buy physical records so record companies were more focused on signing up real talented artists.

      He used both in the first and second choruses in the studio recording albeit choice and voice were first and second courses respectively on the album version.
      He can also do whatever he wants because it's his song.
