Yes, I used a chalk paint... its a sage green but unfortunately the lady I purchased it from no longer makes it :( The table I stained with special walnut ... diluted with mineral spirits so it was very light, and then I sealed it with a matte polycrylic! Let me know if you have any more questions! :)
