I was literally just testing this mod, with the 152 taildragger. Totally love it, even though it’s kinda too slow. I’ll donate if they have added a big pot of borsch in the cargo.
I tried the JPL mod ages ago and don't remember it having all these fancy features, so thank you for bringing it to our attention! The 152 seems like such a gentle relaxing plane for when you just want to go up and hang there leisurely enjoying the scenery. Kind of like a hot air balloon but slightly faster and you can steer it :) Just absolutely no drama at all. And I do love the rubber duckie.
I think the WBsim mod adds the features such as the GTN 750 and tablet. The JPL mod adds a DME, door and window animations, realistic electrical system, custom sounds, lighting rework, boxes that appear in the cargo area if weight stations are populated, and a toggle passenger via the SPKR button. JPL mod is open source so anyone can clone the repo and improve on it.

I think I have a later version (tablet goes up on dashboard) that came out a day or 2 later. I could swear that the voice of the girl who states that "state restored" function was you! This little plane is very realistic.

I've used this mod for a while now. Flew a tour of the UK with a group last year using it. So fun. Considering doing another tour of somewhere in it. It definitely isn't a speedy one but it also won't kill you if you oops on something. Hmm, time to look at some VFR charts. ;)
The 152 is my favorite plane to fly in MSFS just because it's got steam gauges where as the default 172 has G1000's. Plus it's super easy to land nicely for a novice.
It's worth mentioning, that the reason why all these enhanced feature were possible in the Freeware C152, is because of they are a direct spin off from the WB-Sim development of the Payware C172 Enhancement Mod.and thus the development of this C152 was supported by those that purchased the wb-sim C172. (Thank you) Without the support to the WB-Sim C172 Payware Mod, this C152 would never have existed in this advanced form.
My wife and I love to fly our Cessna 150 because it’s like a flying sports car. It is definitely small for anyone over 200 lbs. Don’t use flaps on takeoff unless on a soft field; it reduces climb performance drastically. Don’t use pitot heat unless in rain. The plane has a small battery and drains quickly before start.
any chance for a review for the new P68B Victor by Nemeth Designs? I am so tempted but the first review looks seriously negative .. need a competent simpilot to review it :D - love your content! keep going

Well, with the addition of the GTN750, my tablet mod isn't as crucial... however I can't seem to reproduce this behavior when using a clean community folder with just the WBSim 152/tablet mod/and the GTN750... I'm wondering if it could be a conflict with another mod or livery...
I can now get the configuration tablet. I had downloaded the wrong 750 mod. Now I have the 750 and autopilot but they are "OFF". How do I turn them on?
I followed the link to download, but unfortunately it is unavailable. Any thoughts on if will become available again? I would love to get this mod. Thanks!
How do you get it to show up in the sim? Idownloaded it and dropped it in my community folder but when I open the Sam it’s not there any suggestions thanks like your videos.

Doesnt matter how many payware aircraft I buy....theres always time back in the 152 thst gets one back to the basics, so enjoyable
it's a bit slow, and it gets weak in higher elevations. But it is nice to fly.

I think all that stuff was on because the "Save State" mode on the i-pad thing was on so it started in the same state that it was last left in.
I hope they add the GNS430 in a future update, it would look a lot less out of place than a 750 in the 152 :-)

A friend of my mom's used to own a 152 and I seem to remember that his wife sort of hated that plane because of how cramped the it is.

You were running on full rich mixture on the ground that's why you could not get the revs down to tick over.

Do rock the plane and see fuel gauges show it is also amazing. I love this plane so much and a lot better than the payware Cessna 172

I like the model but it's not always powerful and fast enough for the VFR flights I want to do. Not for the mountains.

It shows up under JPLogistics instead of Textron like the default one.
yup, its further up in the menu, search JPlogistics
It required a second folder to be open which you would put in your community folder. The latest update eliminated the second folder. Easier now.

Broken for me too. Nothing worked like GPS, no top tablet working and a loud clicking sound when the battery switch was on.
@@krico135 The 787 mod interferres with this so remove this airliner mod, which I did, and it will all work.
