She had a sale one year…and wasn’t prepared for the order influx and she folded after numerous attempts to keep the brand going. She also lost a lot of weight and needed skin removal surgery. She spent weeks begging and crying on IG getting people to donate! Then even after she got that money, she begged a cried for money from her followers for her aftercare and money for her bills. Literally every time she showed up on my FYP she was woe is me, crying and begging smh. This is her hustle unfortunately. When the course doesn’t sell, the begging will commence. Watch.
Apparently she is that same person. People have posted proof of her video crying stating she isn't running a scam on the 500 orders she didn't fulfill. Yet I saw her in a video she did after that claiming she was making $14,000 a month doing that same hair business.

I never felt the need to copy her or anyone. I like celebrity news and inspirational commentary and just talk about my own life experiences. That's all im sticking to. She did encourage me bc im in my fifties and her saying if you're in your fifties get on yt. That gave me that extra boost. Im not tired of watching her bc she is very genuine and i like her pure honesty. I see myself in her so i highly resonate with her content.Love yall mean it!😊😊😊😊😊

Me speaking truth to power is not bashing her and we have to stop being emotional and looking at objective criticism, whether it's warranted or not, as bashing. UA-cam is not a friend circle. You can use it for that but the platform is not about uplifting people, which is why these types of things keep happening b/c people expect social media to be this place where we all come together and it's not. That's how people get their feelings hurt. So if encouragement is what you desire, then I love that for you. But I prioritize results b/c it's alot of people encouraged that aren't growing.

Absolutely. We have to be honest about how we measure success. For some of us, UA-cam is literally just a video library that we use to monetize off the platform. For others, their goal is try be as successful as possible ON the platform.

I have a friend who has been doing UA-cam since 2019, and unfortunately, even though they post every single day, they only have about 2k of subscribers and barely get 100 views per video. But my friend refuses to pivot, but they enjoy content creation. They aren’t doing it for the money, but as much time and energy they put into posting every day for several years, I would love for them to at least get blessed enough to earn at least a dollar per video that they ever posted, which is about 1400.
A timeless trend is struggle of humankind. We all working and not really getting nowhere. That unfortunately will always be the majority’s issue. That will always been on trend.
The issues that I'm finding with most *NEW* UA-camr's (not small, because you can be small and not new) following DD's advice to get on UA-cam, is that they really have no clue of what they should be doing on the platform. Anyone can jump on this platform, I take no issue with that at all, because we all have something valuable in us to offer. So I only know about Dough Dash because a lot of small content creators are making content about her (tbh to get views to their channel which is fine but not ideal long term). I went to her page to check her out but I think what she is doing isn't sustainable because I want to say Adsense has a rule they don't like repetitive content and they'll demonetize you if it's repetitive. So I'm hoping she can either create other content that's helpful/motivating or something because I don't see it lasting long unless she does something that isn't too similar. Her strategy is talking about growing on UA-cam at this point in an "If I can do it, you can do it too" and also a "This is how much I made doing UA-cam and you can do it too.." This is also why she makes as much as she does because of the ads being ran on those videos but tbh... again the reason why she is popping off is because small content creators see hope for themselves while watching her which is great but not everyone can talk about the same thing...which Idk if she has addressed that, but that's an important part of why she is growing. In the few videos I've seen her in, she just talks about posting and keep showing up but she isn't being direct about how she grew as quickly as she did which is misleading. But hopefully she can keep thriving but I do think she's given A LOT of people unrealistic hope about UA-cam to a degree in some of her videos.

I concur. As a 60 yo content creator, not everything she speaks on is correct. I am NOT consistent on my channel and I still have subscribers joining me. My last video was almost 2 months ago. There IS a strategy, several strategies. Just have to find one that's right for your platform. She just happen to luck out. Life be lifing and it is what it is. She will die out due to the same over the top reactions. I gave her her flowers. But after watching a few of her videos, I was like this MIGHT sell to the younger audience, but this old head was like gurl paleeeze now.

So I only know about Dough Dash because a lot of small content creators are making content about her (tbh to get views to their channel which is fine but not ideal long term). I went to her page to check her out but I think what she is doing isn't sustainable because I want to say Adsense has a rule they don't like repetitive content and they'll demonetize you if it's repetitive. So I'm hoping she can either create other content that's helpful/motivating or something because I don't see it lasting long unless she does something that isn't too similar. Her strategy is talking about growing on UA-cam at this point in an "If I can do it, you can do it too" and also a "This is how much I made doing UA-cam and you can do it too.." This is also why she makes as much as she does because of the ads being ran on those videos but tbh... again the reason why she is popping off is because small content creators see hope for themselves while watching her which is great but not everyone can talk about the same thing...which Idk if she has addressed that, but that's an important part of why she is growing. In the few videos I've seen her in, she just talks about posting and keep showing up but she isn't being direct about how she grew as quickly as she did which is misleading. But hopefully she can keep thriving but I do think she's given A LOT of people unrealistic hope about UA-cam to a degree in some of her videos.

But you ain’t gotta act shock like you don’t know what’s going on. lol. We all have YT Studio. You KNOW what’s going on. And her premise of just showing up and being authentic, I preach myself! However, like you said, I have a problem with ANY influencer that tries to profit off of the hope of “if,” hence my we’d all be drunk reference b/c if that was the case, EVERYBODY would be successful and that’ll never be the case. Now all of this surrounding stuff that’s going on, I can’t speak to and don’t really care about! I’m still a fan of her growth b/c it was remarkable but be responsible with how you use that growth. That’s my thing

I concur. As a 60 yo content creator, not everything she speaks on is correct. I am NOT consistent on my channel and I still have subscribers joining me. My last video was almost 2 months ago. There IS a strategy, several strategies. Just have to find one that's right for your platform. She just happen to luck out. Life be lifing and it is what it is. She will die out due to the same over the top reactions. I gave her her flowers. But after watching a few of her videos, I was like this MIGHT sell to the younger audience, but this old head was like gurl paleeeze now.

Good information. i am a small content creator growing 3 channels and a patreon channel and do not have fancy editing or a lot of engagement but I show up and do what I can with what I have. Most people want to see the fancy stuff and that is not me. Im going to continue to be myself...the best version of me. Thanks again for this information!
