    Here's a few novel ideas , .... one, put drones overhead swimming areas and assign lifeguards, also buoys along swimming areas that emitt shark repelling frequencies, why noy also wear a band that emits a shark repelling frequency. never assume even if shark attacks are "rare". better safe than bitten

    Warmer ocean waters are affecting the behavior of sharks. Their behavior is abnormal because the ocean water being so warm is abnormal. Unfortunately, both are the new normal, and humans must adjust their behavior accordingly (i.e., stay out of the water).

    Attacks are up due to over population of Sharks on the Gulf and it being Red Snapper season. All those Red Snapper are filleted nearby and the carcasses or parts of them are thrown back into the sea. During low tide the carcasses are taken out to sea onto the beachfront. The Sharks then gather in higher concentrations to feed which ultimately exposes them to all the swimmers along the beachfront. Snapper season is scheduled to be open through December this year.

    Re shark attacks:
    Can air and sea drones help secure beaches near designated booths attended by life-guards (for viewing drone- cameras on multiple live- stream screens & to operate in-booth drone controls)?
    ~~~ ALSO ~~
    Monitoring DREDGING (replenishing eroded beach sand), to insure that increased shark access (& bait-fish attraction) isn't accidentally created, is also very important!!!
    ~~~~~~~
    Ocean swimming isn't just important to the tourism industry, but also to the health & pleasure of local populations.
    Thank you.

    Wait, shark attacks increase in the summer when people go to the beach and go in the water? Noooo, ya don't say. If you want to decrease shark attacks, put a bounty on sharks. Or, just make it illegal to go in the ocean, the bay, or the gulf.
