Why is this so important? As Fr. Paul Robinson explains in this first episode, the Mass is the center of the Catholic Faith and our relationship with God. In all honesty, I don't attend the Latin Mass, rather a Novus Ordo- which I love however, I find something so attractive about the Latin Mass! I hope the Lord continues to draw me near the Eucharist through traditionalism in the Church. Pray for me especially in my discernment of the priesthood

I am a Catholic from Slovakia and I regularly attend Catholic Masses (Novus Ordo), but I must say that this is the first time I have heard wonderful words about the Holy Mass (Trident Holy Mass). I'm just excited and this is just the beginning. Novus Ordo priests never taught us to look at the Mass in such a way. I look forward to the next episodes. I guess I'm starting to have a different view of the Novus Ordo and I'm starting to realize that something is wrong. It seems that since the Second Vatican Council we have been drawn deeper into Protestantism, which is very sad. The question is: Who will give us back the time we lost by participating in the Novus Ordo, when we still have the Pearl - the Traditional Holy Mass? Thank you. God bless us everyone.

I am very interested in this series. As a cradle Novus Ordo Catholic who has only recently discovered Tradition, I have no doubt that the TLM is more reverential and holier than the new form. But how on earth did the generation that bore witness to the Novus Ordo so readily accept it? Laity, religious, and priests by a huge margin accepted the innovations with nary a whisper of reservation. If they were catechized properly and formed in the traditional rite, how did they so quickly and totally abandon it???
Hi, mostly on ignorance! And also the popes since Vatican 2 said it to be so. So people just went along with it. Except for a few bishops. Like bishop Lefevre who started the sspx. None of the bishops that voted for reforms of Vatican 2 voted for what we have now! Pope Paul the 6ths secretary bognino is the one who pushed this through with the bishops knowledge. He did that in 1967 when the original vote that they agreed upon was in 1965 I think. Bottom line is that we got screwed! It was supposed to be very much like the TLM.

I wish that the English translation of ‘Ite, missa est’ could’ve reflected its meaning better, such as “Go, you are sent out”.
However, the side bar in the Angelus Press 1962 missal explains the Conclusion of the Mass on this point very well.
It's missa est means "this is the mass".
Are they going to construct another beautiful church like St. Marys
Could you say at least a few words on byzantine Catholic “mass” aka “Divine Liturgy” and when if ever a traditional Catholic should attend?
