ikr I remember watching some reaction videos and in most of the videos the ocs were just staring at the video like nothing and the person didn't even credit the original content creator.
As someone who makes gacha reaction videos, I agree. I watch a lot of these everyday, and 90% of them are just the characters staring at the screen and changing expressions every 1 min, I try to give advice about all of these you just pointed out, I really hope people are more careful while doing this, because reaction videos really can save a channel (like mine). 6/7 months Ago I had 140 subs or something, when I started my first reaction series the last episode was released and I had already almost 10k. Even if I do my own things,memes,animations I dont get a lot of views like the reaction ones. Im trying my best to make my videos the most entertaining as possible, and crediting the owners ofc. I really hope other creators can do the same aswell
I kinda suffered through the same problem, basically i pretty much made old mid-quality videos. Which thankfully don't get a lot of views, but when high-quality ones and remasters of old videos don't get that many. I get upset, because they are more likely to get less attention, even ones that have characters that are specifically made by me for god's sake! (e.g. my oc's). in fact, my most viewed video was an among us related one. (made back when among us was still trendy at the time.)
Ngl I also hate those videos that are like 'BNHA reacts to momo's past as Kyoko Kirigiri' 'MLB react to Marinette's past as Billie Eillish' 'Different fandoms react to Eri's past as Kotoko Utsagi'
Fr putting irl people in the trends makes it even more toxic and problematic. It mocks the individual whether alive or not (it could upset or traumatise people who knew them if they are not alive).
As someone who watches these types of videos, I agree on all points, and if I’m lucky, there are some videos/content creators that avoid all these problems, such as links, taking down parts fo videos if the creator asks, actual reactions,etc. But these are problems that I wish were talked about more. Great video and if anyone can think of other problems, put them in the replies and I’ll address them
i know i make reaction videos and stuff. But when some people make reaction videos and don’t give credits or don’t even put there names to know where the link is makes me upset. Because How am I suppose to find the person that made the video of you don’t give me at least the user.
i totally agree ^^ as someone who makes reactions, my whole channel and videos are just me improving with reactions and character designs along with editing! i really hope to see someone that makes their reaction interesting and more dialogue!
As someone who’s watched many of these Gacha reaction videos, I completely agree with all of your points. Personally, I don’t know why I like them, the quality on them suck a lot of the time. (The rest of this comment will just be me complaining about what I dislike in these kinds of videos.) 1. When they keep adding breaks - it’s annoying & unnecessary, some of these breaks include content that the viewer wasn’t there to watch in the first place & if you’re gonna add that, why not just continue with the video? 2. When the creators get lazy - I’ve seen a lot of them like this, and I find it irritating. Just stop working on the video and pick it up later if you’re feeling lazy. 3. When they change the designs - sometimes it looks good when they change the character designs but I find videos like that once in a blue moon. Sometimes they change the designs to the point the character themself are unrecognizable. 3.You know how on the Gacha program, whenever a character talks it has their name at the bottom & whatever they say? Sometimes these creators make it so instead of their name, it’s just an emoji they thing represents the character, and then your lost not knowing who’s saying what. 4. When they react to edits, first of all, it’s not their content 90% of the time, and also the characters don’t need to know what this other character looks like when they already know what they look like (cause’ most of the time it’s just edits of the face) take MHA as an example; let’s say class 1-A is reacting to Deku, they already know what he looks like, & they don’t care for these edits. Most of the time the characters aren’t even really given a reaction. 5. When the characters react to a character that they shouldn’t even care about: like when they are reacting to Killua but just shown a couple EDITS of Alluka after that, sometimes these edits don’t even show the characters ability, so,, what’s the point? Anyway, I just needed a rant lol
Oh also! 6. When they overreact or don’t react enough. Sometimes the overreaction to make it seem funny is really just annoying & again limits the reaction time.

I want to put some things that I see in gacha reaction videos: - They don't care about getting a copyright claim - Some managed to use this as their main creation of gacha videos - Some even manage to get 100k subs (some getting to HALF A MILLION) doing this, just so that they can get verified - Some decide to turn monetization on, which is strange because they shouldn't do (some creators don't want it) - (I'm gonna assume) most people who make them are there as either a hobby (or first time user making videos on the internet) or they want to do it for attention (or to flex on their friends just because they got this many views or subscribers) - Most users (I think) are young kids/teenagers
The "they don't care about getting copyrighted claim" LMAO that's so true- but me I do care but I don't know if the song is copyright so I just leave it like that
as someone who used to make gacha reactions vids, I usually saw that people were slowing down/speeding up the audio of the videos being showed, yet they still get copyrighted. And honestly, having no audio bothers me. So I just leave the video like that :u:
I am surprised I am there but I want to give one fast opinion of mine: I think that if your going to credit them In the description I think you should at least do the thing where you add in the title to read the description or in the video a one image telling you that the link is there look in the description otherwise most people won’t click there, my personal tips is to put it in a pinned comment but if you do put it in the description please tell your viewers that it’s there somehow

Oh God someone actually complain this! I am new recently and was hesitant to criticize them. Here are problems I like to share. 1: The Reaction overuses TikTok videos and it gets annoying. Some Gacha Tubers stated they want to show the amazing edits but how can the "characters" reacts if the TikTok videos are too fast to even understand or lacking context to react on? 2: Lack of characters. Some characters doesn't usually behaves like the original. This is due of them being the Gacha Tubers ' AU take on characters, even their ships. The idea of reaction is to react realistically. For example: how would The Boys reacts on Ghost Rider? They should be terrified and glad he doesn't exist in their world. 3: The Reaction was lazy, worse the GT admitted they didn't do much effort because of laziness. They didn't bother grammar check and check the timing. And finally: the Reaction ended poorly. There's one Gacha Reaction where Black Cat would see why Spidey detested her father but the whole video was wasted with TikTok videos. And when finally they're gonna reveal the truth... It's a 5 second TikTok video. Out. Of. Context. A complete waste. There are only few who done it perfect like The Avenger and others. I hope the Gacha Tubers get more creative, be responsible and stay true to the characters.
I’ll say my point of view on this. I had a huge addiction with gacha since 2018 (2027 too maybe? I forgot.) Then I tried to stay away for it. I did that for a year, until I came across a reaction video. Personally, I don’t know why I watch them. I found one video, started cringing at it and laughing about how stupid it was. The entire concept was dumb. But then I started watching more. I don’t even have much fun watching them. They just kinda exist. I hate some things about it, like how a lot of people don’t add credit. They just say things like “credit to whoever made this ✨” Then sometimes people who aren’t lazy will add their own twist, be creative. But eventually the views overtake them and they just do the same thing a million times. I like it when creators of the actual animations crack down on the lazy people, but it just doesn’t stop them. Though, rarely they’ll add dialogue. I agree, they really need improvement.

in my opinion , people should only use clips of the original video for the reaction , so we'll want to watch the rest of the original video in the original channel . then the original creators will get views to especially if their underrated .

I made my first reaction video and I try to think about the characters personnality and behavior I seen alot of gacha reaction videos and they are just one or two screenshots with no effort or credit I always credit when I make a gacha reaction video It would usually be my online sister’s video my characters would react to And I use my OC’s And someday I wanna teach others how to make a good reaction video and about crediting and asking for permission etc

Finally someone talking about this. The fact that the "reacts" videos sometimes get more view than the original, it is quite unfair and very very little effort. Its just some characters with 1 - 2 reactions and thats it. Mostly the creator lets some of the characters sleep, like 4 of them, its so lazy. While i spend like 2 weeks on my 30 second animations, barely hitting 20 views The fact that they are not crediting the owner, well then good job . Just let the guy your using to farm their damn subs to you.
As someone who makes reaction video, I TOTALLY agree with you some people decide to put same reactions and straight up break like WTH. The type of hardwork it takes to make those videos isn't just same reactions, no text. It's about the beauty creator is representing like some creator is putting texts after the video is finished they're reacting to or some put in between, I mean some of them actually put there hard work in that video and end up with low views. I'm one of the gacha reaction creators, and im glad to be apart of the "normal" community. And people have told me my video's are one of the best when it comes to gacha reactions, but yet i totally agree with this video and the issues around the community. This video was made 2 years ago and the community in the reaction video's has luckily gotten better and more normal! 2:38 i do wonder what u mean by this, in the past i used to put links in my descriptions which i don't do anymore now due to the time the reaction itself takes, but the creator of those videos have put it out in the open. So everyone could view it, and making gacha characters react to a video someone else made, would not mean theyre taking the credit or claiming that video as theirs right? Anyway
The weird thing in gacha reaction videos is when they make "MHA react to Deku as Nezuko" like Deku is a boy and Nezuko is a girl. How does it even fit? It doesn't make any sense. Deku is a boy who isn't a demon while Nezuko is a demon. They make a reaction video about the characters reacting to a boy's past as a girl. Plus there is even " MHA react to Deku as Gojo" but Deku is 16 years old while Gojo is 28 years old. Their age doesn't go down. It goes higher. Get it? :,) I'm bad at english sorry

As a gacha reaction maker, I do have permission from original edits owner and I even make my own edits sometimes and reaction have good amount of dialogues. But still My videos are being demonetised by UA-cam. What should I do😣
Please understand that music generally used in edits WILL be copyrighted. In most cases, people generally avoid copyrighted music because of demonetization.
As a person that makes Gacha Reaction videos, i feel kind of bad that i sort of ignored these problems. At first i didn't put the credits in the description since i thought it'd be okay if it was already in the video, but then recently i started adding the links in my description. I try my best to add as many commentary as possible so it doesn't seem plain and boring. Second problem is that i monetize my videos cause i could really use the money to help my family 😭😭😭 Should i stop doing that? Would really love some opinions

I hate when on the videos they tend to mske the character actually transform or say shit that's happening on the video their reacting to, like if I see myself getting beat up im not gonna wince in pain, because I'm watching myself get beat up, I'm not actually getting fucking punched, for example.

sometimes they have videos reacting to their favourite characters as “au!character” as “character” when the two characters dont know eachother and the others are just reacting to another character’s animation memes and reacting as if that other character was “au!character”
I only watch gacha reactions just to find a good meme to watch but they(gacha reactions maker) don't give a credits to the original owner so it's so hard to find the owner of the meme, i don't say every gacha reactions like that but if you Watch the gacha reactions the oc its just looking at the tv or whatever they want to name it And just looking at the vid
I'll say I totally dm gacha reactions I love them but PLEASE can they just include credits to the creators because they did put time and effort into them videos. These were true and for someone who enjoys making it agree completely with this, thanks for talking about it because this video can also make other gachatubers who have made some of the mistakes you mentioned (including me:why? My old reaction vids don't have a lot of commentaries) and can help them improve, to be honest you're the first person i have saw talking about this. Thank you once again, i'll try to complete all of the wrong things i did when making a reaction video, especially the comments and permission. And i have two questions, if you can could you maybe answer this? So i tried asking permission to someone's video for my old reaction (i only use 1 content) and it was really popular (example:Aot in 9 minutes), of course i didn't got an answer but i got comments saying that i can use it (i was pretty stupid so i aggree with it), is it also a problem? Second question, even if we give credits and links in the description without permission and they don't comment to take the video down, is it still fine or i should delete the video? Some are cringe but honestly the people who make them are better than some gacha tubers on tiktok cause I found out alot of famous gacha tubers on tiktok were groomers and more toxic. (Not saying all, they're still great people in the gacha community)
they always say at the end of the video that they are lazy, and that's why they end the video like that... they could just save it in a draft or something and if they have enough inspiration they can always add a little more. they are not obligated to end a video right away just because they are way too lazy. like why are you making a video if you're already too lazy?? i don't get it at all...
Ik this video is like a 1 yr ago, but I actually have thought of those points that you made. (Since I've been intrested into the reaction vids) idk how to exactly copy the vids link) also I feel like just drawing the charaters clothes on rather than trying to make them in gacha club😅 There's so many amazing videos that I find interesting abt some anime or game charaters that are animated by people or make skits out of other audio.
HONESTLY.... I don't like the Gacha reacts but I don't hate em. I just wish people would actually react personally more. Not rely in the avatars with random expressions and minor confused reactions. Like just give a honest opinion even if it's in the middle of reacting. Make it more real.

I understand, but some people get the tiktok videos off of complimations on UA-cam , because some don’t have tiktok, so sometimes it’s not as easy to give links so that’s why the do it in the video
I make Gacha reaction videos and I admit I have made mistake of not crediting the person though sadly I can’t make them anymore because I will get a copyright strike but anyway thanks for the videos and if I do another reaction video I’ll credit the owner or ask for permission to post it
I've also seen some of these vids were the original; creator of the so called "meme" puts a disclaimer to not include their "meme" video into gacha reaction vids yet they still include the video and don't even credit the owner.

I agree I have watched a lot of these videos. I think at this point most gacha reaction creators just assume that people will be focused on the clips and not the characters they made
I remember I heard some music from Jinify (Forgot the name) in a gacha react video and didn't see anything about them. After telling Jinify in a video I checked back and see the link to them now
That's why on my next reaction video I'll put my videos. I'll focus more on animations, thanks for making me realize a mistake I made, but at least I didn't get a lot of views. Once again thank you for pointing this out or I wouldn't have realized!
look, i made a couple reaction videos and it got more views than the actual stuff that i worked hard on. 180k something views. Like- why the heck do people want to watch ‘reaction’ videos? They’re boring to make and boring to watch in my opinion.
Literally most gacha reaction videos I've seen are either A. Characters just sit and change facial expression. And lack of commentary/dialogue. Some didn't even try to make them say short phrases and sentences every 5-15 seconds. B. Boring due to reason A. Instead of observing their "reactions", I just tend to vibe to the vid they were reacting to, and i miss some extremely short dialogues. C. The "This fandom reacts to Character 1 as Character 2's past/future" D. These characters are suddenly getting teleported by the creator of these vids. The tough guys were the ONLY ONES WHO ASKS ABOUT THE SITUATION. E. Some doesn't even credit the original person's work. F. If most the videos they were reacting to was too angsty, then some took excessive breaktimes. G. Overusing TikTok. H. All of the above. Oh and btw i agree with your statement.
They literally compare a fictional character for example(Simon Riley) to another fictional character like Lincoln Loud, they’re not the same dude. Gacha tubers spend so much time on there IPad or iPhones making unworthy videos.

As someone who makes gacha reaction videos, I agree. I watch a lot of these everyday, and 90% of them are just the characters staring at the screen and changing expressions every 1 min, I try to give advice about all of these you just pointed out, I really hope people are more careful while doing this, because reaction videos really can save a channel (like mine).
6/7 months Ago I had 140 subs or something, when I started my first reaction series the last episode was released and I had already almost 10k. Even if I do my own things,memes,animations I dont get a lot of views like the reaction ones. Im trying my best to make my videos the most entertaining as possible, and crediting the owners ofc. I really hope other creators can do the same aswell

I kinda suffered through the same problem, basically i pretty much made old mid-quality videos. Which thankfully don't get a lot of views, but when high-quality ones and remasters of old videos don't get that many. I get upset, because they are more likely to get less attention, even ones that have characters that are specifically made by me for god's sake! (e.g. my oc's). in fact, my most viewed video was an among us related one. (made back when among us was still trendy at the time.)

As someone who watches these types of videos, I agree on all points, and if I’m lucky, there are some videos/content creators that avoid all these problems, such as links, taking down parts fo videos if the creator asks, actual reactions,etc. But these are problems that I wish were talked about more. Great video and if anyone can think of other problems, put them in the replies and I’ll address them
i know i make reaction videos and stuff. But when some people make reaction videos and don’t give credits or don’t even put there names to know where the link is makes me upset. Because How am I suppose to find the person that made the video of you don’t give me at least the user.

As someone who’s watched many of these Gacha reaction videos, I completely agree with all of your points. Personally, I don’t know why I like them, the quality on them suck a lot of the time. (The rest of this comment will just be me complaining about what I dislike in these kinds of videos.) 1. When they keep adding breaks - it’s annoying & unnecessary, some of these breaks include content that the viewer wasn’t there to watch in the first place & if you’re gonna add that, why not just continue with the video? 2. When the creators get lazy - I’ve seen a lot of them like this, and I find it irritating. Just stop working on the video and pick it up later if you’re feeling lazy. 3. When they change the designs - sometimes it looks good when they change the character designs but I find videos like that once in a blue moon. Sometimes they change the designs to the point the character themself are unrecognizable. 3.You know how on the Gacha program, whenever a character talks it has their name at the bottom & whatever they say? Sometimes these creators make it so instead of their name, it’s just an emoji they thing represents the character, and then your lost not knowing who’s saying what. 4. When they react to edits, first of all, it’s not their content 90% of the time, and also the characters don’t need to know what this other character looks like when they already know what they look like (cause’ most of the time it’s just edits of the face) take MHA as an example; let’s say class 1-A is reacting to Deku, they already know what he looks like, & they don’t care for these edits. Most of the time the characters aren’t even really given a reaction. 5. When the characters react to a character that they shouldn’t even care about: like when they are reacting to Killua but just shown a couple EDITS of Alluka after that, sometimes these edits don’t even show the characters ability, so,, what’s the point? Anyway, I just needed a rant lol
Oh also! 6. When they overreact or don’t react enough. Sometimes the overreaction to make it seem funny is really just annoying & again limits the reaction time.

I want to put some things that I see in gacha reaction videos:
- They don't care about getting a copyright claim
- Some managed to use this as their main creation of gacha videos
- Some even manage to get 100k subs (some getting to HALF A MILLION) doing this, just so that they can get verified
- Some decide to turn monetization on, which is strange because they shouldn't do (some creators don't want it)
- (I'm gonna assume) most people who make them are there as either a hobby (or first time user making videos on the internet) or they want to do it for attention (or to flex on their friends just because they got this many views or subscribers)
- Most users (I think) are young kids/teenagers

as someone who used to make gacha reactions vids, I usually saw that people were slowing down/speeding up the audio of the videos being showed, yet they still get copyrighted. And honestly, having no audio bothers me. So I just leave the video like that :u:

The most reaction videos I saw where actually really good white good reactions and it didn’t feel like just a tt compilation but with gacha background but like if they would actually react to it

Oh God someone actually complain this! I am new recently and was hesitant to criticize them. Here are problems I like to share.
1: The Reaction overuses TikTok videos and it gets annoying. Some Gacha Tubers stated they want to show the amazing edits but how can the "characters" reacts if the TikTok videos are too fast to even understand or lacking context to react on?
2: Lack of characters. Some characters doesn't usually behaves like the original. This is due of them being the Gacha Tubers ' AU take on characters, even their ships. The idea of reaction is to react realistically. For example: how would The Boys reacts on Ghost Rider? They should be terrified and glad he doesn't exist in their world.
3: The Reaction was lazy, worse the GT admitted they didn't do much effort because of laziness. They didn't bother grammar check and check the timing.
And finally: the Reaction ended poorly. There's one Gacha Reaction where Black Cat would see why Spidey detested her father but the whole video was wasted with TikTok videos. And when finally they're gonna reveal the truth... It's a 5 second TikTok video. Out. Of. Context. A complete waste.
There are only few who done it perfect like The Avenger and others. I hope the Gacha Tubers get more creative, be responsible and stay true to the characters.

I’ll say my point of view on this.
I had a huge addiction with gacha since 2018 (2027 too maybe? I forgot.) Then I tried to stay away for it. I did that for a year, until I came across a reaction video.
Personally, I don’t know why I watch them. I found one video, started cringing at it and laughing about how stupid it was. The entire concept was dumb. But then I started watching more. I don’t even have much fun watching them. They just kinda exist. I hate some things about it, like how a lot of people don’t add credit. They just say things like “credit to whoever made this ✨”
Then sometimes people who aren’t lazy will add their own twist, be creative. But eventually the views overtake them and they just do the same thing a million times.
I like it when creators of the actual animations crack down on the lazy people, but it just doesn’t stop them.
Though, rarely they’ll add dialogue.

Finally someone talking about this. The fact that the "reacts" videos sometimes get more view than the original, it is quite unfair and very very little effort. Its just some characters with 1 - 2 reactions and thats it. Mostly the creator lets some of the characters sleep, like 4 of them, its so lazy. While i spend like 2 weeks on my 30 second animations, barely hitting 20 views
The fact that they are not crediting the owner, well then good job . Just let the guy your using to farm their damn subs to you.
As someone who makes reaction video, I TOTALLY agree with you some people decide to put same reactions and straight up break like WTH.
The type of hardwork it takes to make those videos isn't just same reactions, no text.
It's about the beauty creator is representing like some creator is putting texts after the video is finished they're reacting to or some put in between, I mean some of them actually put there hard work in that video and end up with low views.
So, please don't judge all us people to be like that some of us need respect for the hard we put in the videos.

I'm one of the gacha reaction creators, and im glad to be apart of the "normal" community. And people have told me my video's are one of the best when it comes to gacha reactions, but yet i totally agree with this video and the issues around the community. This video was made 2 years ago and the community in the reaction video's has luckily gotten better and more normal!

Please understand that music generally used in edits WILL be copyrighted. In most cases, people generally avoid copyrighted music because of demonetization.
As a person that makes Gacha Reaction videos, i feel kind of bad that i sort of ignored these problems.
At first i didn't put the credits in the description since i thought it'd be okay if it was already in the video, but then recently i started adding the links in my description. I try my best to add as many commentary as possible so it doesn't seem plain and boring.

hey so i’ve wanted to make reaction videos but i have an issue. there is no way in h3ll i’d post a video without giving credit. sometimes i give credit when i don’t even need to. however, it’s kinda awkward asking like for example animators if i can post a gacha reaction video with their content...so does anyone have any pointers or tips because of course i’d never post their video if they didn’t want me to, and i want to just easily know.

Hi i'm glad i got this video in my reccomendations! These were true and for someone who enjoys making it agree completely with this, thanks for talking about it because this video can also make other gachatubers who have made some of the mistakes you mentioned (including me:why? My old reaction vids don't have a lot of commentaries) and can help them improve, to be honest you're the first person i have saw talking about this. Thank you once again, i'll try to complete all of the wrong things i did when making a reaction video, especially the comments and permission. And i have two questions, if you can could you maybe answer this? So i tried asking permission to someone's video for my old reaction (i only use 1 content) and it was really popular (example:Aot in 9 minutes), of course i didn't got an answer but i got comments saying that i can use it (i was pretty stupid so i aggree with it), is it also a problem? Second question, even if we give credits and links in the description without permission and they don't comment to take the video down, is it still fine or i should delete the video? The reactions videos SUCKS, we’re tired of that! We need more Gacha rp,series,and movies.
I like the gacha reactions bc of the reactions...sometimes i forgot to watch the videos😭 (im just making fun of the faces)
I usually put the credits in the video along with the video name I have seen some gachayoutubers credit the owners but don't put the name of the video and I makes it hard to find the video
I agree I have watched a lot of these videos. I think at this point most gacha reaction creators just assume that people will be focused on the clips and not the characters they made
I remember I heard some music from Jinify (Forgot the name) in a gacha react video and didn't see anything about them. After telling Jinify in a video I checked back and see the link to them now

That's why on my next reaction video I'll put my videos. I'll focus more on animations, thanks for making me realize a mistake I made, but at least I didn't get a lot of views. Once again thank you for pointing this out or I wouldn't have realized!
look, i made a couple reaction videos and it got more views than the actual stuff that i worked hard on. 180k something views. Like- why the heck do people want to watch ‘reaction’ videos? They’re boring to make and boring to watch in my opinion.

Literally most gacha reaction videos I've seen are either
A. Characters just sit and change facial expression. And lack of commentary/dialogue. Some didn't even try to make them say short phrases and sentences every 5-15 seconds.
B. Boring due to reason A. Instead of observing their "reactions", I just tend to vibe to the vid they were reacting to, and i miss some extremely short dialogues.
C. The "This fandom reacts to Character 1 as Character 2's past/future"
D. These characters are suddenly getting teleported by the creator of these vids. The tough guys were the ONLY ONES WHO ASKS ABOUT THE SITUATION.
E. Some doesn't even credit the original person's work.
F. If most the videos they were reacting to was too angsty, then some took excessive breaktimes.
G. Overusing TikTok.
H. All of the above.

They literally compare a fictional character for example(Simon Riley) to another fictional character like Lincoln Loud, they’re not the same dude. Gacha tubers spend so much time on there IPad or iPhones making unworthy videos.
