Hello, thank you for taking all the trouble to film the Offa's Dyke trail. Thoroughly enjoyed the footage, having watched it all Sedbury to Prestatyn.👋👋👍👍. Was the signage clear throughout the full trail, ( i leave in two weeks going North to South.) .. Hopefully the snow will have gone, LOL. . ATVB2U . Scott ,Somerset

Yeah, there was plenty of signage (going Northbound at least!). TBH having done it I thing that Southbound is probably the better direction to walk it in, Chepstow has some good gastropub style places to celebrate your finish!

Thanks for sharing your hike on the ODP! It looks like you had a great time. I did the ODP in three chunks over the last 12 months and I intend to do the entire walk with my brother next year, post-retirement. We will camp, using campsites in the main with the occasional spot of wild camping.
It was so refreshing to hear your almost constant thought process during the walk which is the same as mine: what food do I have before I can restock, how much water am I carrying and is that enough until I can find some more, will I make it to my target destination tonight, can I find a nice dry bench for my lunch, when will the sun set, and please just be a dry day tomorrow!
    Thanks again.

I’d definitely recommend wild camping up in the black mountains if you can, but that posh campsite by Hay (with the canvas cabins) looked like it would be a fun place to stay. Good luck with your hike!

It all depends how well we are travelling and where each day ends. I quite like the idea of a wild camp up on Hatterall but I’ve also used that great campsite down in Llanthony. No showers, only toilets but there is a small restaurant and bar there too!
I’ve stayed at a place in Hay with those camping pods. Nice people, nice spot.

Well done, enjoyed the series can’t believe you camped in fields with cows! 😂 I’m looking to do this in June. We’re the cows generally ok?

Pretty friendly for the most part. You should have better weather than me in June, that’s for sure!
